If you are travelling North to Aberdeen from Dundee there aren't many convenient stops. Choose Peggy Scott's for a lovely clean and modern roadside cafe/restaurant with a good selection of dishes and, of course, the all day breakfast. Service is prompt and friendly and there is a small shop offering snacks and news.

We stopped off at Peggy's for breakfast after an all night drive up from London. The food was fantastic, all freshly cooked while we waited. Considering I had mentioned that I did not need any baked beans with my Scottish breakfast, I was slightly surprised that I had to pay extra when I was asked if I wanted tea or... More

I regularly drive to Glasgow from Moray and stop at Peggy Scotts for a break. Today, my sister and I decided to have breakfast on the way home but was really disappointed with the food. We both ordered the omelette with cheese and tomato which comes with toast and tea, but what we received was omelette with what can only... More

Stopped for lunch. They had run out of soup by 12.30pm. Terrible service, terrible food and terrible coffee. This used to be a quaint cage with delicious cakes but standards have gone down massively. The canteen staff are rude, abrupt and unhelpful. Try the Finavon hotel next door instead.

When we travel south and return home on the A90 this is a perfect place to stop for a meal or even for a short break for tea or coffee. We have always found the staff, food and service first class. Always very clean and tidy and serves a great range of delicious food.

Peggy Scotts (named after owners scotty dog Peggy who passed away)has fabulous home baking that owner Dawn makes fresh everyday.Homemade soup with home made bread .Lots of variety on the menu and a gift shop/spar for anything you might want to take home.A great place to meet friends and spend an afternoon.

The chocolate sponge cake that you buy to have a home is heavenly, as are their Victoria sponge and Lemon Sponge. Lovely polite staff
