Stayed here for weekend and what a location, truly amazing. The rooms were stunning, clean and so comfortable. We ate here on our first night and the food was second to none. Cannot recommend enough. We will be back

I wanted to try the local delicacy the smokies and I stumbled around Arbroath looking for respite from the driving wind and rain. I found it in this ancient looking pub with a warm welcome. Of course I was here to try smokies. So I...More

Had Cullen Skink and a Steak Panini. Both were superb and great value for money. The Cullen Skink was the best I have had for a very long time. The service was also excellent.

My choice of the old Brewhouse was a wise one. It nestles at the west end of Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland in the small town of Arbroath. It reflects the colourful and rich history of the town. Arbroath was besieged in 1771...More

Nice ambiente, but only average food. So it’s ok for a quick lunch or dinner. The buttered fish was a bit too buttered, so very oily and heavy. The smoked fish was good. Beer variety was good and delicious.
