The older lady who prepared our fish told us that they get twice a day fresh fish. And it is true. As we was enjoying our Fish & Chips, fisherman came in and delivers the fresh catch and was saying: see you tomorrow. I will go definitely again when I'm up in the north.

I like this place, but it needs a bit more quality control, the staff are always nice, never taken anything back, but the chips are sometimes slightly undercooked, making them not the best eat ever

Battered fish seems to be fine but twice I have had breaded fish and twice it has been overdone. Shame as the place is fine with good service.

I had a traditional fish supper that was delicious and I noticed the local Cullen Skink fish soup was on the menu so had this for starter and it was delicious and I had some more in other places on my vacation. Very... More

Worst meal ever from Findlays last night! Fish dripping with oil, chips were pale and just cooked. the only redeeming feature was that it was hot. Not the standard we expect from a usually perfect place to either eat in or take out. I appreciate that Friday tea time is busy, but that really isn't an excuse for the very... More
