All our food came quickly and was well presented. Great Thai green curry. Rest of the dishes were well received too. Nice Chinese interior. Spacious and fresh. Service friendly but could be better. Table not cleared after dinner so looked scruffy. Overall, it was very nice.

A group of ten had dinner in the mandarin last night. Place was very busy, my food was ok, I had special fried rice. Overall, the food was of a good standard and everyone had a good night. Was a bit pricey though as we ordered off the main menu as the portions on the express are a bit small..

I'd been to mandarin years ago and remembered it being delicious. Returned with high expectations. We hadn't booked so waited for a table in a lovely waiting area. Got a table and placed order - sweet and sour chicken for me, beef and black bean for husband. Unfortunately food wasn't as good as I had remembered. Average chinese takeaway food.... More

After a few hours shopping in thec sales in Derry my wife and I decided to eat here as it had been recommended by both a brother and a sister of hers (it also had good reviews on Tripadvisor). We went in shortly after it opened and it was very busy. They gave us a table in the 'waiting area'... More

We have liked this restaurant for some time. It burnt down a couple of years ago and we're glad that standards hadn't slipped when it reopened. Had a lovely meal, quick, efficient and friendly service, good food and to top it all we got a Christmas gift when we left - 4 wine glasses, a box of after eight and... More

The food was good rather than excellent. The high spot of the night was the karaoki that was put on. There were a lot of Christmas parties taking place and a Chinese man dressed as Elvis was entertaining them and us. The singing was dreadful to hilarious but everyone was having a good time.
