I was always told that you only live tomorrow based on your experience of today. I have given this place a few too many visits based on the reputation of sites like this. Food is good to ok..but the experience lacks theNWOW factor, the it's prices suggest. After our last visit we adjourned to the pup next door, just to... More

After reading some great reviews, we booked a table and ordered from the set menu. The food, matched wines and service were faultless. The belly pork starter was divine; rib eye cooked to perfection and rhubarb panacotta delicious! Can't recommend highly enough.

This restaurant is hands down, the best restaurant in Derry/Londonderry. I've been so many times I've now lost count! The food is fantastic, staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is brilliant. Best Restaurant in Northern Ireland 8 years in a row - definitely worth a visit, wherever you stay in Northern Ireland.

Business lunch with four of us. We ordered from the lunch menu, and everyone was very impressed. Cooked to perfection, with an interesting menu that covers every base. Presentation of the food was excellent, and portion size was just right. Highly, highly recommended.

I'm fairly new to Northern Ireland and to be brutally honest I think Derry is a bit of a dump. Looking around several months ago I thought it was a dirty little city that is fairly desolate, so much so, in fact, that I forgot I was in a first-world country. But lo! Last week I had to give myself... More

Recent evening meal for four. Staff attention was excellent, food all outstanding and the suggested wines for each course are a great idea. The extra tasters are delicious. Best restaurant for some distance.

With a truly warm welcome from some of the nicest restaurant staff I have ever come across, who were so passionate about first class customer experience and service and knowledgeable about the delightful dishes on offer, right down to anecdotal stories about the produce and producers, I knew this would be a special evening. Starting with scallops served in the... More

We were recommended to try this restaurant by our hotel - so glad that they did. We opted for the early bird menu as we were eating early. So glad we did, there was no skimping on quality and a very good choice. I had a steak which was a little tough. I mentioned this to the staff who quickly... More

Ate here for my daughters Birthday. Restaurant was packed and busy, had to book in advance. It is expensive. As family of 4 we had 3 courses each and very little drinks and bill was 158. However food was lovely

Visited on Saturday Feb 25th for dinner. Very well looked after from start to finish. Attentive but not intrusive service and excellent food - the Chateaubriand was fabulous and our guests really enjoyed their meals immensely also. Good selection on the menu and lots of little extra touches added to the experience. The fact that the Chef (Mr Ian Orr)... More
