In Newcastle for the week we re-visited Nikis as the food is good, well presented and there is an airy feel to the restaurant. Lasagne and Quiche were the two specials, I ordered lasagne and my wife the prawn open salad. The lasagne was enough to 'choke a donkey' with salad and chips and my wife's meal came with a... More

We had lunch here and found it very expensive. We had dinner later elsewhere in Newcastle (absolutely gorgeous) and paid the same for dinner as we did for lunch in Niki's. The only children's menu was for hot food, no kid size sandwiches.

Had the family in Newcastle for the day and after our first visit here a while back called in again this time for lunch. Have to say Easter Monday afternoon was not a great day to eat here as the queue was to the door but we persevered because of our fantastic first visit. This place was jam packed, but... More

My family and I ate here at lunchtime on Wednesday 19th April. The menu is fairly comprehensive and the prices are decent too. The service was fast and very courteous with plenty of seating for everyone. The other clientele were having a mixture of brunch, tea cakes, toast, lunch and sweet treats- this place caters for everything! Food was of... More

My sister and I visited here for lunch - er asked in the local butcher where was good to eat as we were visiting for just a day, one of the customers suggested Niki's, and it was a worthy recommendation. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. It was really busy and obviously very popular with... More

On a cold wet March day we called into this cafe for lunch. Hubby and I ordered soup and a sandwich. Had I known the size of the sandwich I wouldn't have ordered soup. However I managed to finish both. The soup was delicious- tomato and basil and the sandwich was lovely...well filled and tasty. We didn't have anything sweet... More

All in the picture for £19.. Great value and the quality was excellent.. the open prawn salad came with wheaten bread; a slice of quiche and chips 👍👍👍 My Caesar salad had a poached egg on top.. Busy place and relaxing atmosphere.. no rush for you to eat and go. Will be back soon

Here today with friends. Wasn't that hungry so had a cherry scone. Have to say was fantastic. My friends had a steak and Blue cheese wrap, and a pie special. Bacon champ was absolutely delicious and the wrap was in her words "to die for". Very clean and tidy place. Will defo go again if in the area.

The premises are spacious and the food options are good with a variety of seating options. Parking is always available in the Donard Park car park behind so you can stay on without worrying about the dreaded Parking wardens that roam the town during the day!
