Food drenched in a sauce. Fries soggy. Served a little too quickly. They could not make a Virgin cocktail

Great lunch from a varied menu served by friendly staff! Atmosphere is relaxed, restaurant is spacious, bright and airy, yet cosy on a cooler day.

Have only ever been here for a drink, so I'm unable to comment on the food, but the bar has a great relaxing atmosphere and offers a wonderful view of the Mourne Mountains. The bar staff are friendly, and for those fans of Game of...More

Disappointed with our meals. Onion rings, fish, chips all a bit greasy. It took a long time to digest our food!! Bit pricey for what you get. Will not be rushing back.

A great restaurant , when we were there you could have a meal for two + a drink for 20pounds ..after your meal slump into the big leather armchairs ,beside the roaring fire and enjoy a relaxing drink...a brilliant bar just inside the grounds of...More

We popped in here to get our Game of Thrones door passport stamped (door number 4 for us). We ordered cheese and biscuits and a couple of coffees. The restaurant was not as 'posh' as we were expecting, but the food went down well and...More

Visited Percy French absolutely disgusted at the prices. 11 year old daughter asked for burger and chips had to pay £14 for the privilege. Thought we had ordered a steak for goodness sake. Not sure if they have bumped up prices due to the air...More

Just getting to the front door was a challenge. Granted it's a busy tourist time during the summer, the lack of available parking for this restaurant made for a difficult time. If we hadn't already pre-arranged to meet family there, we would have given up...More

The restaurant itself is lovely, very cosy. The staff are really friendly and so attentive. Unfortunately the food is pleasant but not to the standard I would have expected.

Mr.Toal, I have just read your unprofessional reply to my comment of 22 May 2017. I don't believe there was any need to bring clarity to my comment, you are correct in so far as my 'attack' on your staff member was personal, she was a disgrace to her profession in showing little more than contempt for a potential paying customer. My dog is ten years old, (15?) I made no mention to her of a previous visit to your establishment, she made no mention of your policy in allowing pets to eat with us outside, I asked her! She did not offer a high chair, I returned to the restaurant and requested one, she placed it just outside of the door, approximately ten yards from where we were seated, that was rude, so rude we left without further ado. Perhaps Mr Toal you ought to do your job and manage, get a grip of your staff instead of making ill informed replies to customers complaints. Perhaps you will invite me to return after reassuring me my concerns have been addressed? I will not hold my breath. Regards, John Hall

Dear Mr Hall, Your 'Review' if you want to call it that, was a personal attack of our team member. It was insulting as it stated that she was 'elderly' and had messy hair. I would happily invite you back so that you could... More
