Bizarre for a pub that's empty to refuse service and not allow anyone to come sit down for food and drink. Empty expecting a large group but closed for everyone else?

Stopped in for lunch and a pint and ended up staying for a few more. Great boxty, friendly staff and a fine pint all in a nice central location.
Arrived as opened at 12 as we wanted a quick lunch before going to the rugby .good pint of Guinness and then tried the Boxty ham and eggs , and beef strips. Very tasty . Quick service .
By chance I found this little gem. The sign out front says it is the oldest building in Belfast. Can't verify that but it is certainly a great place to catch a quick bowl of soup for lunch or a good meal at the end...More
