Had an opportunity to have a couple of meals at this restaurant. Our first night we had the hunters chicken, which was delicious. Our next meal was breakfast. The full breakfast (Ulster Fry) was fantastic. Our next meals were the rime years steaks. Both our steaks were cooked to our liking. If you're a fan of onion rings, try the... More

Stayed at the Premier Inn and decided to stay on site at Thyme for an evening meal. Service was extremely slow. My steak dinner arrived before my drink, which they had completely forgotten about. The meal was not great. The 8oz sirloin in fairness was cooked how I wanted it, but the whole dinner was served on a awkward shaped... More

Ate here a couple of times whilst staying at hotel. Food is very good with a varied menu, staff very efficient, there always seems to be tables available as a lot of people staying in hotel eat out in city. Take advantage of meal deal if having breakfast as price very good for the standard of food. Recommended!

We ate here for a total of three nights and appreciated being able to access it after a long, tiring day out. We took advantage of the meal deals which made everything much more affordable. Service was a little slow on occasion but the staff were always lovely We also had breakfast here and that was excellent

Thyme is convenient and value is ok as city prices go. The venue is nce, service is good. Staff are rather pleasant. Nonetheless the food lacks a punch and is basic with no aplomb or even I didnt cook this myself mood. Basic food at ok prices=not cheap for what one gets but acceptable as you may have a glass... Good deal if you're check-in in the hotel, not only for it strategic position but also that it have meal deal + breakfast. Good service and food.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the evening food given the restaurant was linked to a budget hotel. The food was very good and the service excellent.
