Didn't fancy a stuffy restaurant and after a quick search on TA decided that this place would be ideal. Not masses of choice but enough. Went for the BBQ beef with all the trimmings and fries, meat was tender and juicy with the slaw and...More

Had been recommended by a friend. Very nice. Loved the tin plates and the whole layout. Got some homemade lemonade too which was delicious.

Good burgers as usual, nice settings and surroundings. Only negative points would be the baps being slightly cold, and the portions don't really fill you (burgers seemed bigger the first time we went).

Visited the new bubbacue on botanic with high hopes on Sunday around 5pm. Place was deserted, we were one of two couples in the place. The "ice bath" with drinks had only two varieties left, and the food was mostly cold. I chose a chicken...More

I think the amount of food you get and the whole ambience are similar, however since they changed the menu, now you don't get to order a two pieces of brisket rather diced flakes of dried broker which is far from idea and authentic. Had...More

My first time here and I can wholeheartedly say I will be back. First of all, don't be put off by the queues, it gives you time to check out the menu and work out what you want! Cost is average for city centre food...More

Shopping in Belfast decided to give it a go and wasn't disappointed, enjoyed everything about it,the selection of different sauces just added to the delicious food. Had to bring the Mrs down who also thought it was worth the drive.

Hey Ian, Thanks very much for the nice comments. Glad you liked our homemade bbq sauces. We spend hours making them from scratch. Over 21 ingredients go into 1 sauce! Regards, John

Decided to give Bubbacue a try as I hadn't been for years, was staying locally and wandered round. Had the chicken, chips, mac cheese to go and headed back to the hotel. The chicken was quite dry and a bit tasteless and the rice not...More

Hey PMACCA, Thanks for the review. Glad to hear you enjoyed the mac & cheese but we're not happy to hear you weren't 100% satisfied. I'll have to look into the chicken to see why it might have been dry. The fries not being piping...More

Hiya, I don't think the hell fire will be making a comeback. However, we usually have a bottle or two of super hot sauce in the restaurant, which you can use to add some extra heat. Just ask one of the bubbacue crew members... More
