Ate there last night. Really central in town. Food was excellent. I am veggie and chef offered to make me loads of alternatives to what was on menu. I went with goats cheese tart....nicest I ever had! Waitress was so lovely and chef came out to talk to all the diners. Will have to go back and try the breakfast.

This was a lunchtime visit, our first but not our last. We both went for the scampi and chips which were delicious. The real joy was our delightful waitress - friendly, bubbly and attentive - anticipated our needs.

Welcomed to the Allotment on a busy Saturday night. Maitre D and waitresses couldn't have been nicer and was very impressed by the food. Defo will come back the next time I'm in Belfast!

Our visit was for a friends Birthday party. The restaurant is small but the atmosphere was great. Candlelit tables made it feel like a bijou French bistro. The staff were lovely and all our food was delicious. Steaks were very good. BYO wine was a bonus for a change . We are looking forward to going back again.

Probably matches The Lantern in quality and price.. it is a decent enough little spot.. most of a group of 12 of us had steaks here on Friday night. They were fine. I got mine rare and it was nicely cooked, but maybe a slightly tougher piece of meat than I'd have hoped... chips weren't amazing. Pepper sauce was mild... More

Have been to this restaurant for brunch a couple of times and it was great. However we visited for a pre theatre meal very poor. I had the squid a nice fresh salad with 4 pieces of squid very small portions for the price? My partner had pate which was just ok. I had lamb shank served up with crispy... More
