I like the cricketers because it's near my friend's house and it allows dogs.... if it wasn't for those two things I may not bother. The food is quite nice, but it's pretty overpriced for what you get. Every time I visit the cricketers, something...More

Right next to Number 62, where we stayed at, is really nice and lovely backyard. The bar tenders are really nice.

A+ on all fronts - wonderful service, wonderful beers, wonderful food! Very comfortable environment with great relaxing tunes (at a reasonable volume for us 30 somethings that are 'ageing' and want to chat the day down) - there's a great deal of ales on tap...More

Sunday dinner was presented to a high standard. Food was seasoned well and a large choice of veg - however; the service was very very poor. The younger staff were pleasant but unfortunately we seem to get the older waitress who clearly lacked in customer...More

This restaurant was highly re commended by our B & B located nearby. Quiet enough to carry on a conversation, excellent service and good food at a reasonable price. I had squid, one of the specials, that was as good as I have ever eaten....More

I used to like this pub. They have banned dogs from the bloody garden - outside!! How stupid is that? If you have a dog you can sit at the front on the main road. Went to the Conway instead which was wonderful and better...More

Description
Set in a classic Victorian Town House, within a well hit 'six' of the county cricket ground, The Cricketers offers a great range of quality Welsh real ales from our sister company, Evan Evans Brewery. Chilled continental lagers, a great wine selection & a large soft drink range. We also offer free Wi-Fi. Our beer garden is the best in Cardiff, with plenty of seating and a real sun trap!
