Charming with such nice looking food. Don't expect pizza & usual pasta dishes. We had a great time & they managed to cope with our very large group. My starter & mains was better than the dessert. There was no pudding wine but otherwise charming staff and food

We came here on a belated valentines date and sadly we left feeling neglected and disappointed. We sat downstairs and the atmosphere was non existent. We weren't told the specials and only realised because we heard them telling another table! The service was poor and we felt neglected, we even had to ask to order our drinks and for the... More

I would simply say that you should try Casanova. The food is simple but exquisitely cooked and presented. The wines are far far better than the usual Italian restaurant fare. Locally sourced, the Toto piedmont we drank was great value. Value for money at £30 for three really good courses and well worth paying the £4 cheese supplement too.

Visited Casanova's on Friday with four friends and were delighted with all aspects, the welcome, service and of course the food. The menu is small which allows them to concentrate on Quality and it was Quality they provided. Anyone visiting Cardiff should book this restaurant.

We had visited Casanova's many years before and after getting a little bored of the many chain restaurants in the rest of the city centre we thought that we should go back to Casanova's - we were glad that we did! The welcome was very friendly, more like going around to a friend's for dinner than to a restaurant. The... More

Never been before but went on a recommendation. We had a lovely evening nice staff and great food, but portions on that particular night left you wanting more. Would like to try it again on a regular evening.

This lovely friendly restaurant sits in Cardiff City centre, in the shadows of the National Rugby Station. I visited there last night with a friend and absolutely loved it from start to finish. We received a very friendly welcome, the service was attentive and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious and faultless. I can't wait to go back again.

Went here for my wife's birthday based on trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. As soon as we walked in we was warmly greated by the staff. We was seated downstairs and told the specials. I had the fillet beef special (on recommendation of the table opposite) and my wife had the slow cooked beef ragu. The food is... More
