Guys if you go zip lining or are close by you have to make this place a must! We didn't have starters as the pudding looked (and were) amazing I had the pulled pork and mum the special crab salad, portions were amazing and the quality.... so delicious. And for pudding I had the clotted cream panacotta with golden syrup... More

We booked a table at the Grill Room for a Sunday evening early in May. It was our ruby wedding anniversary so we wanted it to be a special occasion. What attracted us to this restaurant was that they had T-Bone steak (husband's favourite) and Moules (my favourite) on the menu. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that both... More

Large menu and daily specials. Good sized portions. Staff good, in the main, but we did have a trainee who had never heard of Chilean Sauvignon!! He just brought the wine to the table without a cooler as he thought we wanted it chilly!!!

Everyone in our party was really happy with everything at this restaurant. The decor was tasteful, it was clean and comfortable, the staff were really welcoming and friendly- in fact, they went out of their way to talk to us and our young daughter- and we didn't wait long for our food even though it was fairly busy. The food... More

The food we ate was bland and tasteless and overpriced. Everyone said it's upmarket yet I found it to be nothing more than a pub! Starters = Pate and 1 from the specials board which sounded amazing and was nothing more than a mini (and I mean mini) cooked breakfast. The Pate was the worst I have ever tasted -... More

We ate here twice on a recent trip to Betws. More up market than the Stables bar, but still good food and decent value.

Pot luck this one! I booked 'bling' from a google search and it was great. The food was very good, and the service excellent. It was quite pricey compared with some other places we ate that week, but worth the extra. Much if the food was locally sourced, which I wish happened more in this bonkers world of ours. Highly... The roast pork was delicious, but the much vaunted crackling did not exist,it was simply tough Chewy skin. The vegetables came and two of us helped ourselves. My son asked what had happened to the veg for the bottom end of the table. He was told that the dish was meant for all three. This was ridiculous and we asked for... More
