We recently had some freshly cooked fish and chips here. Lovely food, friendly staff and a lovely location.

Popped in here for some lunch on a family day out. I had a ham, cheese and mushroom omelette with chips and peas portion was huge so only ate half of it! Hubby loved his bacon double cheese burger said the onion rings were gorgeous and toddler had sausage, beans and chips which could of done with more sausage and less... More

Popped in to warm up with hot drinks. Disappointing that both the coffee and the hot chocolates cone out of a programmed machine rather than freshly prepared. The milkshake was nice though and made with ice cream. OK for a flying visit or a snack. The staff were very friendly though and accommodating.

Had a lovely traditional sit down fish and chips lunch in the restaurant area. It's clean, bright and a pleasant place to dine. The food was a tad expensive but that's to expected in a tourist trap but at least it lived up to expectations.

Time waiting for food was far too long, the staff were disinterested, and when the food came it was cold . This was a Saturday , they weren't busy , so no excuse. Had a meal there the day before and it was very good , staff and food excellent . You need to change your Saturday staff .

Overall very good. Quick and efficient service. Food tasted of oil on some parts. Reasonably priced for families.

Thanks for your review. We only use a very high quality rapeseed oil which should be light with no after taste. We will have another look at this. Once again thanks for taking the time to review Spinnaker. More

Ideal place to go for a hot meal while we were recently away on a camping trip. We have been a fair few times and usually eat here. It's reasonably priced, and is also part of a chip shop take away. We usually go for a healthier option of jacket potato. Always very busy, service is OK, but could be... More

We sat outside on the benchs provided as we had our dog with us. 2 fish & chips & a vegetarian breakfast was ordered inside. The food came fairly quickly & was very nice with decent portion sizes. Staff were friendly & helpful

We've been stopping here for the last few years on one of our cycle rides, the coffee has always been good and a fair price. Not anymore, we have noticed two price rises this year, the cup is not even full. We will be looking for a new pit stop as the coffee is expensive for not even a full... More

Thanks for the review. You are right, we have indeed changed our coffee supplier and also our cups. The cups are larger and are designed not to fill to the top so that the coffee company logo shows. We have raised this with the supplier and are always happy to top your cup up should you wish. The reason for... More

We came in for a small bite to eat for lunch, we ordered a cheese and ham toastie and the chilli cheese dog. The toastie was quite expensive but came with a free bucket of chips, the chips were nice from the chip shop that was a part of the cafe, it was full of cheese which is rare to... More
