Visited here while camping down the road . Staff are friendly but seemed run off their feet therefore service a bit slow. The setting is on a very busy dangerous road so you have to be very careful to keep any adventurous little ones safely...More

Good value for money. Friendly humorous staff despite being very busy at supper time trying to serve all guests with one staff member.

Arrived at 6pm when the restaurant opened and were the second table of people to enter, we are a family with 2 small children. We ordered our meal after about 10 minutes, nothing fancy gammon, a pie and nuggets for the children, after an hour...More

Fairly small restaurant, seems popular as few spare tables. Food good quality, varied but not extensive menu and service friendly.

Tried to eat in Betsycoed on a Saturday night, everywhere fully booked so called in here. Glad we did! The ladies were really friendly. Had lamb shank with proper mash, veg and gravy. No room for pudding but there was a good choice.

This attractive pub suffers from being a couple of miles out of Betws-y-coed and easy to miss. It does not appear to be open daily but serves generous portions of typical pub food. the car park at the rear is not easy to access

We visited as a group of 13 on a Saturday evening in May. We were welcomed by Jan who was running the bar and restaurant alone, obviously apart from the kitchen staff. She provided great service throughout, always checking that everyone had a drink and...More

A quirky place to eat but with great food. The beef and ale pie was definitely best pie we had ever tasted.

Open the textbook. Look up "pub grub". Have a look at the entry and if it doesn't cite 'The Silver Fountain' as the paragon example, well, get a new textbook. Obscenely gargantuan pies, their size only over-showed by their deliciousness, were accompanied by almighty chips...More
