Seemed sort of busy and more tourist oriented than I like, but was pleasantly surprised with the hardy and substantial and fresh fare. It was a nice retreat from the main street and felt warm and local ...

Delicious food, generous portions and fantastic service. Great selection on the menu and was difficult to pick with so many fantastic dishes. Would highly recommend.

The food here was fabulous! We had Never eaten out on Valentine's Day before and we were a little apprehensive about the fact it wasn't the ordinary menu. We didn't need to be because the atmosphere was lovely, it's a really homely feel in the restaurant, and everything tasted divine. Excellent value, atmosphere and taste!

My wife and I walked in for a quick meal, food was lovely. Really enjoyed the complimentary canapés and dessert treat. Great touch.

We booked a table here for valentines night. We ordered from the set menu which had a range of meals to choose from. Great value for money, £26 per person for three courses plus appetisers, a glass of sparkling wine, a sorbet palette cleaners and some small Welsh treats to finish the meal. The quality of the food was lovely... More

We booked ahead for valentines night and we're so glad we did. We stayed in the village for 5 nights and valentines was the only night we saw it open. They had a 4 course set menu for the evening and the food was the best I have ever had by far (and I love my food!) The staff were... More

After a morning at Bounce Below, we decided to stop for lunch in Betws Y Coed. The reviews were all excellent for Bistro Betws, so it was top of the list to try out. Unfortunately it was a bit underwhelming. I suspect the dinner menu / food would be better, but on the basis of lunch, it was nothing special.... More

With a selection of places to try in the local area we settled on this quaint little place by the river. The food and service was outstanding! Reasonably priced and great options too. The photos of the inside of the place on here don't do it justice unfortunately, it's lovely inside! Try the beef cheek, it was AMAZING!!

We visited this Bistro in January, it was our second visit to this restaurant in six months and as like last time the food was excellent. The service from the waitresses was also excellent, very friendly and never stopped working. We will definitely be back again.
