Good: Great decor - a mixture of middle age stone walls and modern decor. The service was friendly and helpful. The recommended a good bottle of wine. We got there at 6:30 when they had their early dinner special where all meals are half price! The food is creative with amazing flavor - you definitely wont get a plain burger... More

Admittedly, we are foodies, although we both grew up with plain fare. We were unable to obtain reservations for the two nights in Conwy by just walking, but we luckily noticed the "open for lunch" sign while walking the castle walls. We were very happy we ate there; duck confit very, very good and I ordered a vegetarian dish of... More

This was our second visit to Conwy and to Watsons and we enjoyed it just as much as our first visit. I had Ox cheek and it was delicious and melted in the mouth. My dessert was lemon tart with ice cream, scrummy. My husband had pork cooked in different ways and a selection of ice creams with shortbread, his... More

I booked a table for 6 at this restaurant for my Father’s birthday, on Sunday. I have dined there previously and had had a wonderful evening great food, great atmosphere and lovely attentive staff, I was hoping it would be much the same and I wasn’t disappointed! The food was delicious, the service well timed between courses and the atmosphere... More

The setting was so lovely, tucked away in a pretty garden with beautiful rooms , appropriately lit and arelaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent, better than many fine dining restaurants we've been to in London. Service was attentive and not intrusive. What more could you want. 😁

My friend an I visited Conwy and were recommended to try Watson's Bistro. Although it was busy night, they were able to seat us early (although a reservation would have made things easier) and helped accommodate my food allergies. All of the staff was very kind and attentive to us throughout our meal. The food itself was creative and very... More

Go early for dinner and get the three-course early bird dinner. Fantastic value. I had the liver pate appetizer, the ox cheeks (they let me substitute creamed potatoes for the frites), and the lemon curd. Everything was amazing. Do make a reservation and do try this delicious place! Super nice staff.

Called here for lunch after seeing that it was No1 on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. They offer 3 courses for £17.50 on an early bird menu and it was outstanding value. The food was imaginative and delicious. One of the owners is the chef. We hadn't intended to have 3 courses at lunch, but it was so good that... More

We dropped in without a booking on a Friday evening and though busy we were given a table. One of our party has a lot of food intolerances - the chef added two dishes to the food on offer for him and the one he had was excellent. Two of us had the hake and veg and it was excellent,... More
