Friendly welcome. Pleasant , helpful staff..Good menu with excellent choices. We enjoyed the fish dishes, the liver and bacon and the roast beef with yorkshire pudding.Nicely cooked in-season vegetables. Delicious old fashioned puddings!

Ate there twice in the last 2 weeks. The first after visiting Brecon Beacon and we asked a local where we can find lunch and was directed there. Great food. My children made me do a round trip from Cardiff just to have lunch there again last week! With the many miles added, it was still worth it. Only the... More

We do a round trip of nearly 100 miles just to eat at the Greyhound where the food is consistently of the highest standard at very reasonable prices. To be honest I'd travel 200 miles willingly!

We visited this little restaurant today for a family lunch. The food was delicious, freshly cooked, and beautifully presented. We couldn't fault it. And the desserts were truly yummy. My family congratulated me on my choice of venue, but I think all praise should go to their chef Roy. Definatly a 10/10. Would certainly recommend!

Old pub I mean old, forget your surroundings and concentrate on what you went there for, ordered food at the bar only waited 15/20 minutes which I thought was reasonable as it was almost full the food was Hot which was nice (not like some 5* venues I have been to) The food was great as was the service.

My mother (who is 80 this week) decided that we would go out as a family to celebrate on the wooed end, due to working and travel plans. We booked a table for 7 and were greeted and seated by the obliging staff. The traditional menu is one we have enjoyed many times in the past, and this visit was... More

Great lunch of moules and chips. Really enjoyed. Maybe a thick chunk of bread would be good too. We sat by the open door to the garden as it was a lovely warm day. Another customer sitting at the other side of the restaurant tried to close the door, we did ask her to leave it open, but her response... More

We chanced across this pub by chance, we were the first customers today. The menu was extensive and there were specials for the day. I had the smoked haddock on a bed of spin age with a blue Stilton sauce and my wife had the pan fried bream with mushrooms and courgette from the daily specials, each dish was accompanied... More
