Called in during the Abergavenny Food Festival, we were pleasantly surprised that even during a very busy period, the placed lived up to its name.

My only complaint is the café is a bit small and can't always get in for lunch. Lovely food and good service

Visited many times, always had great service and lovely food. My son adores cake and described it as the best he'd ever tasted today! All handmade by the very friendly owner and a wide choice including gluten free. Small cafe with limited space but perfectly formed!

Popped in here while visiting Abergvenny town and wasn't disappointed! Me and my mother in law got coffee and a slice of cake for £4.50 each was I thought was very reasonable, especially as the slices were huge! It had a very friendly vibe to it, staff were lovely, and the cafe also offer all other types of food; breakfast/lunch/snacks... More

Just finished my potato cheese pie with beans and bacon - how different but tasty!! The owner was so friendly too! Coffee was nice and hot and one of the best I've had since arriving in UK last weekend! Loved this place!

Cwtch means 'Cubbyhole' in Welsh (my only effort at learning the language whilst on holiday here!). The name suits it well, it is a small cafe with a buzzing atmosphere. I had the cheese and onion pie and my husband the Lasagne (both cost £6.95). Both were delicious and the garlic bread was dripping with garlic butter (the best I... More

I've had both lunch and a beautiful afternoon tea and cakes. The food was excellent and the cakes you are spoiled for choice.

Nice little cafe. One member of staff was a little off hand more aloof than rude. We both had ham sandwich and milkshake both lovely.

After looking at various possible places at which to have a light tea, we settled on this as the most likely to be good. And, so it proved. A Welsh rarebit with poached eggs was judged to be excellent. Meanwhile, Canadian pancakes with scrambled egg and maple syrup was alright - this would have better with more focus on actual... More
