Sometimes you find just what you were looking for. After a morning's walking and sightseeing around Worcester, I was looking for somewhere quiet and civilised for lunch. The Balcony Café more than answered the call. It's a haven of peace in the busy city centre. You're surrounded by fine art and architecture. Service is prompt and extremely obliging. A jacket... Delightful small cafe with an excellent small menu. Service ( for the UK) was excellent and very friendly. Although we had only drinks and cake we were made to feel appreciated.

The museum is well worth a visit and this cafe is a big bonus feature. The museum is free so you can just go to the cafe which is run separately to the museum. There is plenty of good wholesome vegetarian home cooking as well as a selection for meat and fish eaters. I had the soup, soft roll and... More

I popped in to pass time at the museum, but only got as far as the cafe. What a lovely find. Very pleasant and friendly staff, prompt service, excellent food and coffee and the food is beautifully and thoughtfully presented too. I'm so glad I called in by chance. I'll certainly be back.

A gem of a Cafe with personal and enthusiastic service. The Victoria sandwich cake was especially good.

I eat here frequently, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. All food is cooked fresh and locally sourced and there is a good range of options on the standard menu, plus a decent range of specials. The service is good and the staff are friendly. I would recommend this for lunch with friends, plus children are very welcome.

I've eaten here a few times - trying the baked potato and salad; and various cakes - and recommend it for the quality of the food and for the service. The gingernuts are particularly good - home cooked and gingery!

I went Here to have Lunch. Even though the staff is really kind, I did not like the food. Spending £5 for a cold sandwich without any taste is not worthwile. I would reccomend this Place only for a Coffee or for a slice of homemade cakes. Surely not for other meals!

I was disappointed that you did not enjoy your sandwich, this is not what the majority of our customers tell us.Also with regards to the pricing we use free range and quality products which do cost more.I would love you to contact me and let me know what you exactly had ,we may have made a mistake. Lunchtime on a Friday. A chance for a rare quiet lunch with my wife who works nearby. And to recce before I unleash two 4 year olds on the museum for a weekend visit. The Balcony Cafe passed both stress tests with ease. The cafe, with seating around a central atrium and a tiny kitchen was packed with a wide... More
