We visited on a Saturday afternoon and after a very short wait whilst our table was prepared we had a wonderful afternoon tea and cake; well, coffee and cake if I am to be 100% accurate. The coffee was perfect, the cake very nice. The service was superb; friendly and attentive without being overly so. A charming and quirky little... More

Walking around Great Malvern and spotted the sign with Caroline and Barry inviting us to their tearoom. Being Caroline and Barry ourselves how could we resist? Had an lovely cuppa and toasted teacake / scone, jam and clotted cream. Most certainly would come again.

Came here principally due to its Elgar connections, and my brother Phil's recommendation from previous visits. Very pleasant cafe to take refreshments in and relax, some lovely vintage fittings, the rooms are light and airy. Good choice of tea, I had the chai, Sally Anne the breakfast and Phil Earl Grey, and we all enjoyed. Lemon drizzle cake also a... More

We've been visiting here since we moved to Malvern 8 yrs ago. Lovely old-fashioned atmosphere, great food - especially cake, and good coffee. Historical links to Elgar and friends. Need to kook carefully to find it as there is just a door between two shops leading upstairs to the tearoom. Worth a visit, but check opening times.

Lovely old tearoom where Elgar used to take tea! Service was a little slow but well worth the wait, the tea and clotted cream scones were delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.

We called in here on a Saturday afternoon whilst visiting the lovely town of Malvern. We had to wait for a table for a while but were seated comfortably in the pretty foyer , reading the paper, whilst doing so. The tea rooms themselves are cosy and overlook the main street; there is plenty of mismatched old crockery and a... More

Called for lunch. Food just average. Ok for the over 50s but younger ones found filling in paninis very sparse. Not even a full rasher of bacon in the bacon and Brie panini
