On the plus side, a nice old world feel, with an attractive touch of shabby-chic, and plenty of history (Elgar used to visit!). Having been a couple of times, I'd say the food was decent/pretty good. The staff always seem a little chilly, even a touch awkward around their customers - but perhaps it's just that they don't want to... More

I love the Bluebird Tea rooms . The quality of scones , cakes and food is excellent . It is quaint and old wordy but would be even more improved if they changed the wall paper . My feeling is why not make it totally Englishy, quaint and over the top experience . The tea pots and cups are flowery... More

Popped in for a late lunch and was relieved to find a table free, as it can get busy. Opted for my usual choice of Caroline's delicious homemade mushroom quiche, with jacket potato, salad and coleslaw but couldn't resist finishing off with homemade mince pies. Always delicious with a good choice of food, teas and coffee. Homemade food at it's... More

we go quite often, as one of our favourite tea rooms. the view is brilliant and the food is lush. we often take friends who are visiting us from up north. however the service is very slow that it is not a good idea to go when hungry, but rather beofre one gets hungry. this is a real let down,... We visited on a Saturday afternoon and after a very short wait whilst our table was prepared we had a wonderful afternoon tea and cake; well, coffee and cake if I am to be 100% accurate. The coffee was perfect, the cake very nice. The service was superb; friendly and attentive without being overly so. A charming and quirky little... More

Walking around Great Malvern and spotted the sign with Caroline and Barry inviting us to their tearoom. Being Caroline and Barry ourselves how could we resist? Had an lovely cuppa and toasted teacake / scone, jam and clotted cream. Most certainly would come again.

Came here principally due to its Elgar connections, and my brother Phil's recommendation from previous visits. Very pleasant cafe to take refreshments in and relax, some lovely vintage fittings, the rooms are light and airy. Good choice of tea, I had the chai, Sally Anne the breakfast and Phil Earl Grey, and we all enjoyed. Lemon drizzle cake also a... More
