If you've ever dithered, like I do, about where to get your coffee, dither no more. It's hard to choose from the cosy offerings of Broadway but what really counts is the coffee and this coffee is delicious. My fox red labrador and I wandered in and were greeted heartily, despite Sunday's busy service. Milk alternatives? Yep! Whatever you'd like. I ordered a triple shot almond latte (I have three kids and the triple shot gets me through the busy morning!) and whilst we waited, I took in the bustling cafe.
Delicious breakfasts, coffee and papers, cakes and chats... I decided to come back with the troops later in the week for breakfast. As I was handed my coffee, our dog was fussed over and given a dog treat... he was happy too. The coffee was a perfect balance of bitter, rich and creamy - if you love coffee like I do, you'll know what I mean!
I've been back every morning since and we all visited for breakfast too; delicious! The mushrooms are a highlight and my son declared his bacon sandwich to be 'top drawer'; thick cut bacon in a soft, doorstep sandwich. The hot chocolate is a meal in itself - marshmallows and whipped cream; amazing! The staff are friendly, attentive and efficient. Visit The Market Pantry - whether for a take out coffee or a sit down breakfast, you'll be very happy you stopped by.

Our favourite place to eat is open again and with some nice new treats! Now serving a lovely selection of takeaway food and cakes, as well as gelato! They are baking new cakes and we tried flapjacks, Rocky Road, Biscoff muffin & chocolate muffin. As you would expect they were top notch! In addition home made lamb samosa, sausage roll, Cornish pasty and pizza. Don’t fret as the menu still includes all the wonderful lunch mains such as, home made soup, burger & chips (proper ones of course!) Quiche, salads and a great selection of sandwiches. Before 11am you can treat yourself to sausage and bacon butties, toast and granola. Great coffee and a variety of leaf teas too, make a trip to Market Pantry a Foodie Heaven experience!

What a lovely place for a coffee and a snack in a beautiful location. The service was fantastic, the food wonderful and coffee perfectly made for us. The food is all made on site and the team are friendly and very welcoming. We tried the homemade sausage roll, spinach and feta pastry and the blondie, all of which were lovely and really well priced against some of the establishments along the High Street. Would recommend and we will visit again soon

What a racist place! It was a miserable wet and cold day and my son was hungry. They had a table near kitchen but when I asked about a table that was empty they told me and my son to come back after 40 minutes. We returned to the place 40 minutes later-it was after 3pm at that point - and the table I saw was still empty. The same mid aged waitress gave us a table right next to entrance and was cold place. When I asked her if we could sit at the table I saw earlier which was still empty she refused, saying it was reserved. About 25 minutes later one white couple walked in the couple was asking any tables available and the waitress took them straight to the table near kitchen, the one she refused us to sit.
Broadway is a chocolate box cotswold village but this sandwich shop is very racist. I will never ever go back there again and would like to tell everyone who is not white, non- native English customers to stay away from this sandwich shop. The food was over rated here and over priced. And horrible racist service!!

Hi unfortunately you have posted this to the wrong establishment. We have no tables near our kitchen also no middle aged waitresses?? The only middle aged women is me the chef and im in the kitchen. We are also certainly not racist as i am of mixed race as is also my son who works here.Im sorry you had a bad experience in whatever establishment it was.I also find this post very strange that its only been posted now when your greivience was in November of last year????

Called in here for a quick coffee and cake yesterday- we sat on a table outside as the weather was lovely. New measures are in place due to Covid (for example there were less cakes on offer and drinks are served in takeaway cups) but the staff seem to be managing well. We usually choose Market Pantry for our coffee when in Broadway as it is always nice❤️

Stopped by after day long bike ride on May Bank Holiday Monday to get ice cream for the kid, just a couple of minutes past 5pm. People were still at the shop, but nice enough young girl at the door explained to us that she is there to make sure that “no queuing after 5”. There was no prospect of queuing - there were only us in front of the shop. Was she diligently “following orders”? Quite possibly. Was it great customer service or good business practice? You tell me, but this shop is off our list, there is enough alternatives there.

I had a great lunch here with my mum and my young baby. We were given the heads up straight away that lunch wasn't goi g to be served till around 12.15 which was fine for us so grabbed a coffee first. I had the sandwich special of bacon, avocado and chilli jam which was soooo tasty and came with a very generous amount of salad. My mum had one of the jacket potatoes which she was also very happy with. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere also. Would happily visit again.

Market Pantry has always been a place of connection for me, meeting long lost friends for breakfast, romantic coffee dates and family get togethers. So it was a real treat on visiting my Dad this Christmas to manage to squeeze a visit in for lunch. As always the food was delicious, we all had burgers and I'd definitely recommend it with the extra bacon and cheese topping! It's a cosy space, so be aware that it can be a scramble to get a table as it's very popular and tables are close together. However, it has a real homely feel, so the lack of space plays to that. If you're in Broadway it's worth a visit.

We stopped for coffee and sausage rolls after reading some reviews and we were not disappointed. The sausage rolls are to die for! We thought the rolls at The Farm Stratford were excellent but these are in another league. Homemade from 97% Gloucestershire Old Spot pork, and at only £3 each, they are absolutely delicious. The shop is family run and the young man there was lovely. If you like sausage rolls then this shop is a must.

While visiting Broadway my wife and I popped in and had lunch. I think it was the homemade sausage rolls (pork & bacon) on display that enticed us in and they didn't disappoint, truly scrumptious. We also had a wrap that was tasy and fresh, they also sold homemade cakes and pizzas. Apart from the food the service was also first class and friendly, they obviously appreciate their customers and it shows not just in the service but the quality of the food.

Treat yourself to the homemade cooking and baking at Market Pantry. It’s a ‘must visit’ to sample both the savoury and sweet foodie creations. Choice is the dilemma! Pizza, pasties, sausage rolls, quiche, samosas, Rocky road, muffin, flapjack, brownies, gelato, as well as, artisan coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Always serving something different and all served by friendly staff, which is why Market Pantry is our favourite cafe in the Cotswolds.

My son had a ‘Mac’n’Cheese Ball’ basically a scotch egg with macaroni cheese filling and a chicken mayo wrap. He described it as ‘unreal and unbelievably delicious’ He also enjoyed a wonderful ice cream which is from Hoorays of Stratford upon Avon. There is a huge selection of savouries to choose from including sausage roll, pizza, samosa, quiche, Bagel, flatbread, salad. Also, they have a variety of homemade cakes, flapjack, carrot cake or brownie. Tea and coffee is equally excellent offering Leaf tea, artisan coffee and hot chocolate. My daughter’s favourite is the ice cream milkshake. You can Eat in or takeaway or both!

Millionaires Shortbread should be Billionaires shortbread, it was really good, thicker than normal caramel and chocolate, well worth the calories. My wife’s ice cream was of equal high quality and in. Gluten free cone (which is the first time we have been given that option anywhere. Sat inside with our dog who was made equally welcome. Brilliant place for coffee and cake!

Treat yourself to the wonderful home made cakes and savoury selection at our favourite Cotswold cafe. Now serving take away, you will struggle to choose from delicious home made cakes such as flapjacks, muffins, Rocky road, millionaire shortbread etc Savoury selection includes sausage rolls, samosa, pizza, quiche. In addition try a scoop of real ice cream (gelato) Quality range of coffees and teas (try the Earl Grey!) and hot chocolate too. We used to travel an hour every week to eat at Market Pantry for a couple of years before moving to Broadway. Now we are lucky enough to have the cafe on our doorstep. You will love the food but be warned it’s addictive as great home made food always is!

To be accurate it’s Gelato, which is Italian ice cream and is definitely superior in taste and healthier too. It differs from ice cream in that it has a lower fat content (higher ratio of milk to cream) and less overrun (volume of air) which makes it denser and creamier than ice cream. I believe this gelato is made locally with quality local ingredients.
I tried the Lemon Meringue and Turkish Delight and wow! The flavour was so real and it was light and refreshing. If you love ice cream you won’t have tried anything as good as this and because it’s healthier you can have 2 scoops!
Btw I noticed a vegan option which was coconut and chocolate which I will try soon.
