Went for lunch on Sunday. Food was wonderful equally the service could not be better. The landlady Diane Truesdale was so welcoming and pleasant. If back in the area will definitely visit again.

Lovely dog friendly pub, open fire & separate restaurant area. It was busy so we sat at the bar. There were tables in the restaurant, but we like it busy. We ordered chicken liver parfait & whitebait, both very enjoyable. I would say it was the best whitebait I've eaten. The service was quick & friendly. The venison stew looked... More

Five of us met up for a meal here on Saturday - as usual, the food was great (home cooked and piping hot) and the service was both friendly and efficient. There was a lovely log fire in the restaurant and we had a great time in Broadway. Looking forward to eating here again in December.

I'm really surprised that people think the food here is overpriced?! For anywhere I don't think £10 for a main course is OTT but for Broadway it's by far one of the more sensibly prices places to eat. The pub has a great atmosphere and wide choice of beer and cider on tap and the food comes out on actualy... More

We had Sunday lunch in here and it was very good with Chicken, stuffing, roast potatoes, veggies, a huge Yorkshire pudding and heaps of gravy. Has parking at the back of the pub too.

Went in for a drink and we're told it was closing in 20 minutes so didn't bother. I'm not sure what they were burning in the fire but after 5 minutes came out smelling like bonfire night. Did seem nice inside but thus put me off. Smell stayed with us for the rest of the day!

Expensive and bad not a good selection of food. Would not recommend this pub. It is on the high street which why the price probably high.

We had been eating mostly British foods for the week, but decided to go light on dinner and ordered a small pizza to split. It was so good! Then we had room for dessert! I had the chocolate cake which reminded me of the devil's food cakes I used to have as a child. Loved it!
