Popped in for a beer, stopped for a steak. One of the best fillet steaks I've ever had. If I'm back in Maidenhead again I will definitely come back.

Great pub. The best in town in my opinion. Very friendly staff. Food is quite good. There's a table at the back where you can play some of the board games available.

It was fairly busy when we arrived at 0930 on a Saturday night but had pretty much emptied when we left at 1015, which is apparently fairly normal for Maidenhead nightlife these days as it waits for its Crossrail facelift. The drinks were good - gin and tonics were fever tree as standard and lime not lemon as a garnish/flavour.... More

This cosylittle pub has a great atmosphere, good beer, wine and spirit list and simple but delicious grub. I have been a few times and not had a bad steak yet. There is always a great background music (jazz, Indi, rock) and a fire crackling in the winter. I also love the fact that it's not a stinky pub (you... More

I just love this pub. It reminds me of my local where I grew up in Devon. Small, beautiful, friendly and full of character. The only difference is the food. The burgers here are to die for, today I tried to be healthy and had a salmon sandwich and I shared a hearty portion of chips. Simple food that tastes... More

Evening meal yielded a fabulous experience from start to finish. It goes without saying that a 2 Michelin Star kitchen will produce fantastic food - and it certainly does. Drinks on arrival, the restaurant, the fantastic service by every member of staff we came into contact with, all made for a truly memorable experience. Will be back..........if we can get... More

Traditional pub set-up. Excellent service. Great food: we had salmon to start, then steak & chips and a custard slice for pudding; to drink we had a glass of house champagne, a glass of house white with the starter, a house red with main but no coffee afterwards. The bill was £256. Ouch!! Not great value but a thoroughly enjoyable... More

PLEASE IGNORE THIS REVIEW!! It's not for the Hand and Flowers in Maidenhead, its for Marlow. Tripadvisor have been informed but are (as usual) too slow / incompetent to remove it.. More

I loved this pub a few years ago but then they put a lot of silly pictures on the wall, board games on the tables and the clientele changed accordingly.

Wow, what an amazingly constructed critique!! Rest assure the Artist has been informed and the board games will be burnt!! [sigh!] More

I walked past this place on the way back from the gym recently and saw it absolutely packed on a Wednesday night. So when friends suggested a night out come the weekend I recommended we try out this cool looking hole in the wall. The establishment was great. Good food, amazing music selection and a nice atmosphere. The staff were... More
