I called the restaurant on 2/12/2021 to book a table for 2 for the following day. I was advised that they were not taking dine in bookings, however upon my request they were happy to make an exception.
My friend and I arrived to a warm welcome at 9pm and ordered our drinks along with the following menu items, after checking for nuts as my friend has a nut allergy:
Starter - Mix Tandoori Platter. We asked if it was possible to swap the prawns for lamb chops which they did happily.
Mains - North Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken. Lamb Chettinadu. Butter Naan's, Garlic and Coriander Naan's.
All the food was exceptional in quality and taste, and by far the best in Maidenhead. My friend who had travelled from London said it was the best he had ever had too.
I am quite particular about my Indian food and have to say that whilst many restaurants quote that their food is authentic, the food here truly is!
The menu is extensive and caters for a variety of tastes.
We left the restaurant at 11.30 pm (even though they close at 10pm) very full and happy. The owners stayed behind late as they could see my friend and I were having a long overdue catch up and we felt no pressure to leave any sooner.
All in all the restaurant accommodated our requests, delivered a very tasty meal and the service was second to none.
I cannot wait to go back and if like me you enjoy great Indian food, I can recommend Delhi Junction very highly as the best go to Indian restaurant.

Last night was the first time we have tried the food from Delhi junction and we will not be going anywhere else from now on! Everything from start to finish was fantastic including even the telephone manner of the guy who took our order. Without out doubt the most authentic Indian food we have ever eaten in the UK and we can’t wait until the next time!! I normally judge a Indian restaurant by how good something basic like a chicken madras is, and Delhi junction did not disappoint. Best Madras I have ever had!! Keep up the good work!!

What a true gem of a restaurant. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food is sublime - tasty, flavoursome and just the right amount of heat. The menu is varied with some old favourites as well as a few new ideas to try out. My family has regularly voted our local Indian restaurant in Bray as the best in town but I have a sneaky feeling that Delhi Junction will take its crown

Girlfriend and I were looking forward to our meal as the place seemed nicely decorated inside. There was a new waitress who was friendly and helpful. We waited 45 minutes for the starter to arrive and when it did, the Bombay potatoes were lukewarm and the tandoori chicken was one small piece (which was nice), however the waitress did mention that it seemed very small so we would get another piece. The other piece of chicken arrived with our main which was also lukewarm. The lamb biryani was pretty dry and the saffron pilao was also dry and overseasoned. In short friendly waiting staff, but unfortunately would not go back for the food as most of it didn’t taste like it was freshly cooked and hot. Perhaps they were very busy with online orders, however there were only 2 other tables to serve in the restaurant.

We had the most delicious takeaway. We order loads of different dishes and they were all so fresh and tasty. Absolutely couldn’t fault anything. The best Indian takeaway we’ve had in a long time.
I am vegan and they were able to cater for my requirements without going off menu or leaving me feeling like I was unsure if it really was vegan.

We have been staying locally for a few weeks and found Delhi Junction from TA reviews. It is brilliant! Quick and easy delivery (cheaper than the Roos) and we came to eat in based on how good it was. The service is excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
The food is great quality, just right spiciness and not at all greasy. We’ll def be back for great vegan and meat options.

Service was very slow. We didn’t complain but other tables did. Presumably on a Saturday evening they are balancing delivery service with restaurant service but we waited over an hour for our starters. The food was OK; I’m not sure if the chef has moved on but it certainly wasn’t quite as special as I remember.

Went here tonight for dinner with two friends. The food was lovely but the service was rather poor. Took about 15 minutes for a member off staff to come over and take our drinks orders by which time we had chosen our mains, and this process took longer than it needed to. These drinks didn’t arrive for a while and when they did we were given the wrong drinks so they had to be changed, and one didn’t arrive for another 15 minutes. However, food came in a reasonable amount of time and was very nice, even though I only got 3 pieces of chicken in my tikka masala! To be fair to the staff, there was a large group on another table, they seemed to be understaffed and they were apologetic and helpful when mistakes were made. Overall, it was a pleasant experience but make sure you’re not rushed for time or it may not be!

Many thanks for the feedback it helps us to improve and analyse what ,where went wrong .apologise for the delay if happens when you are busy but we will ensure to minimise . You ordered a banquet meal and you rightly said the portion is limited to avoid wastages but you are most welcome to ask for until you are full keeping in mind no take away. Overall you have had a good experience and we will ensure you will have better experience next time .

Best Dosa and Idly for miles around! Consistently high standard of food and generous portions. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. Staff are knowledgeable about the food and happy to check with the kitchen to be sure to cater to all dietary needs. Good range of vegetarian and vegan options. A place to go back to time and time again.

Ordered our first takeaway from Delhi Junction yesterday and was impressed with both their food and service.
The takeaway containers you get are deceptively big, even if they look tiny! We had a Chicken Biryani and Chicken Bhuna with Jeera Rice.
Food was still hot, obviously freshly made and had generous portions of quality chicken.
We will be back!

Delhi Junction is the best Indian restaurant in Maidenhead area. Finely spiced dishes with great taste and individually suited chilly-hot level is the hallmark of any dish they offer. They have a huge variety of menu both veg and non-veg with terrific selection of Indian breads (naan, roti, kulcha, etc.). Food is reasonably priced and they offer gracious, adequate portions per dish both for starters and main dishes. if you miss this restaurant in Maidenhead, you will miss a lot. Worth visiting for lunch and dinner several times a week. Staff is very courteous, pleasant and welcoming.

Delighted that you are back! By far my favourite Indian restaurant in Maidenhead, where vegetarian dishes are not an after-thought but the real stars of the menu - vibrant and colourful. Delighted also to see the new additions, like the malai kofta, that make the menu even more interesting. Keep up the great work and best of luck in these mad times.

We came in for lunch on Saturday. We ordered starters of onion bhaji, seekh kebab and samosa chat.
Bhajis were nice and crisp, not at all oily and light. Seekh kebabs were very nice, with a warming ginger taste coming through. Samosas were nicely cooked and tasty. The starters however did take over 20 minutes to arrive, and we were the only table in there!
Main courses of chicken taka taka, chicken chettinadu and garlic chilli chicken were served a bit more swiftly. Flavours were nice. The chettinadu had a hint of aniseed but had a nice heat to it. Garlic chilli chicken was not especially garlicky, nor were the garlic/coriander naan, but they were cooked nicely if a little light on meat content.
Service by our waiter was excellent, he was very patient and knowledgeable.
I felt the food was a little on the expensive side. Having looked at the menu prior to coming, I knew roughly what the bill would come to, so that was not a problem, but for what you get it's probably 20% dearer than some of our favourite places (in Eton, Hatfield and Southall).
The food is good and it's the best I've had in Maidenhead, but it is a bit on the steep side and main courses are not as generously sized as some other restaurants.

Amazing food, amazing customer service, chef is so personable. The food is very authentic proper Indian food. I have tried a lots of Indian restaurants over last 15 years but this is simply the Best and closest to actual Indian food. I have been visiting this restaurant for lunches and dinner for last three years. Highly recommend the food. The newly decorated ambience is perfect for a relaxing time with friends and family.

1 star is generous. We arrived ordered our food and drinks, the poppadums were £2.49 for a portion which turned out to be a single poppadum snapped in to 2, when we asked about the portion sizes we were told it’s 2 pieces therefore correct.
Our full drink order never arrived and at this point we had already eaten our starters. The drinks that did arrive (king cobra bottles) were out of date and when we sent them back he said it wasn’t their fault because they didn’t sell them much.
Already a little annoyed at this stage the waiter then set the table for our mains and gave us a dirty plate! We gave it back and the waiter thought it would be acceptable to wipe the dried food with his finger to smudge it off and hand the plate back saying it was now fine! As you can imagine we’d had enough at this point and said to charge for what we had eaten and we would leave. Serious lack of customer service skills and the absolute joke of trying to charge 12.5% service charge when providing the bill.
Won’t be returning. Wouldn’t recommend. Definitely don’t order the poppadoms.
