I do not usually like Harvester but it was nearby. Had dinner here 2 nights in a row. Staff great , attentive, food was okay and salad bar good idea. Reasonably priced. Only observation toilets need some serious updating .

We arrived at 10.30 for breakfast, after waiting to be seated for 15 minutes we were approached by a waiter and told to find ourselves a table. We ordered breakfast but had to ask for cups as there were none available at the coffee bar,...More
"Builder Friday" can be busy, I'll look into this.
Very poor quality main course, frozen veg which was warm, frozen mash potato, the advertised ' buttered' carrots simply was not true. Sauce accompanied the sea bass was very unappetising ( fish was dry and tasteless). Starter ( mushroom pot was average) dessert was nice...More
Went here with family. Greeted by a nice member of staff. Unfortunately he didn't serve us some young rude girl did. Food was not worth even half what we paid for it. Cold. Undercooked and we were never checked on. I emailed a complaint and...More
Walked in. Saw three Christmas trees and fairy lights. It's November, five weeks and three days to Christmas. Walked out.

So glad you enjoyed your visit. The chocolate fudge cake is a real challenge. I've still can't figure out how my own teenager manages it all :-)
I did look on Trip Advisor before I booked a table for 3 on a Tuesday. The wide spectrum of reviews is an accurate reflection - it's in desperate need of a refurbishment. Our table was so unstable every time someone cut into food the...More
Thanks for taking the time to review. It is true that a refurbishment is required in the near future. Watch this space as things are being talked about above !
The usual really good food and great service from very staff that we have come to both enjoy and expect. We tried the new menu which was good. The salad bar was well stocked and as good as ever. We have heard that the restaurant...More
A refurbishment will happen in the future..... but we will always remain great value.
Not visited a harvester for a while, as, not really a fan of their food. However this is a good example, salad bar filled and fresh, service great, and food arrived quickly. Both our starter, and main courses were cooked well, and tasted great. Would...More
