Great food, lovely atmosphere. Within the centre of Salisbury and within reach of the Cathedral close - this is the perfect place for a romantic meal followed by a stroll around the city to take in the sights, sounds and hostelries in the market square

We have been here a few times over the last couple of years and despite the fact I cannot stand being forced to tip I have overlooked this as the food and service has been good. On our last visit the service was very slow...More

Sat outside and enjoyed a stonkingly good calamari followed by tuna salad nicoise. Couldn't fault it. Staff were busy but my food arrived quickly. Although the lady next to me seemed to have had to wait a while. Was fairly expensive but worth it.

White wine was warm - so had to ask for ice cubes and it was not of good quality - too acidic. Salad was poorly dressed and serving staff did not seem to know how to address this & when asked for a French style...More

There's no standout, independent restaurant in Salisbury, which means you're looking at pubs or chains. I've eaten here twice and both times it's been exactly what I'd have hoped for. And that's not always the case with this chain, so this branch is well-managed and...More

Visiting my friend in Salisbury, we went here for lunch after I got off the train. Set in the pedestrianised, cobbled area of town, next to a church, it's a lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy the weather while people-watching. We opted for the...More

Table reservation made several days prior to attendance to ensure that we could eat comfortably prior to the theatre. Arrived on time and shown to a round table well sited. Maybe the early evening bookings were heavy but drinks and first course were slow in...More

We were meeting friends in April and the brief was somewhere reliable without being intrusively self obsessed and this branch of Cote provided it. Excellent service and no hassle to leave at the end of the evening - well done.

Description
Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly
