We have recently discovered this lovely cafe by looking up good places for vegans to eat in Salisbury - it is very friendly and cosy and there is so much choice here for vegans or anyone with dietary requirements. I had the vegetarian cooked breakfast without the eggs to make it vegan and the staff gave me extra mushroom and... More

I went to the lovely Greengages for lunch on a busy Saturday lunchtime with my best friend, her mum and my mum. The staff are so friendly and efficient and welcoming. The menu caters so well for everyone with local good quality ingredients. On this visit we only had sandwiches and baguettes but they were so tasty, I have visited... More

Really helpful manager and lunch was very delicious. We couldn't get a table downstairs and because one of our party couldn't manage the very steep stairs the manager said if we came back within 10 mins he would save us one. We returned 20 mins later to find our table ready and waiting. Homemade style food at reasonable prices. Well... More

Visited for the first time the other day for a quick lunch. Got to say impressed. Nice, friendly staff, good choice of menu and while busy food wasn't too long in coming. Good portion of food and very tasty. Will visit again.

Had lunch here today. Very busy little place. Got a table straight away as got there at 12 noon but there were people coming in constantly after that. Had to wait 20 mins before anyone took our order and food did take quite a while to come. It was worth waiting for though as it was very nice indeed. I... More

My wife and I dropped in for a light lunch. I recommend the super food salad (£8) for which you select from a choice of various proteins (select one from options such as tuna, chicken or cheeses), veggies (select 4), nuts (select 1 option) and dressing (select one). The portion was generous and we ended up sharing it; very tasty.... More

Saturday lunch and the restaurant was very busy. A broad menu including snacks and full meals and catering for all kinds of tastes and dietry requirements. Generally we found the food to be of good quality and the portions were generous. The service was prompt.

Visited with my brother for a quick lunch - very cosy cafe/restaurant with homemade cakes, yummy specials and a good selection of food for those with special dietary requirements. I will be back, as I am very keen to sample the breakfast menu!!

This cafe always has vegan options (mains and desserts) and they actually get creative with them (i.e. vegan quiche). Plus the owner, Rich, and the staff (especially Joe) are always fun and friendly.
