Went here for a catch up with friends, only one of us is vegetarian but we all ended up getting vegetarian options because of the great range of choice. Would particularly recommend the sweet potato and chickpea chilli burrito, it was lovely. Definitely come here if you're a student as it's 25% off!

We had a meal here on a Sunday at 5.30, it was quiet, cocktails were two for one, I had a chocolate liqueur cortado (coffee) and it was awesome. Loved the food, we both had the steak tacos with fries and salad. The tacos were beautiful, the salad had the most amazing dressing I've ever tasted and the fries were...well...fries.... More

We had pre booked a table for 6pm. Our drinks took 25 minutes to get to us. Dinner took an hour to arrive and it was practically dead in the restaurant it was a Sunday evening and we were excited about going to a concert. We love las iguanas and are regulars in Edinburgh where we live. Staff were poor... More

Today we had a lovely lunch at Las Iguanas. It was great sitting outside with my friends. Their little girl could go for short walks whenever she felt like it. The lunch menu is particularly good value for money. I especially enjoyed my starter - a mushroom quesadilla, and the desert, a coconut blancmange with fresh fruits on top, was... More

We have just come back home from a very enjoyable experience there. It was our third visit. I tried the new things on the menu: what a joy! I had Gambas, prawns in a tasty peppery sauce and sea bass. The prawns were really good and the sauce...unbelievable.The sea bass dish was amazing! So good with prawns and mussels accompanied... More

Had a birthday meal here, first time I had visited but came highly recommended. A great choice of cocktails and drinks accompanied a varied menu. After sharing a starter, we had seabass on a bed of rice, and a halloumi salad. Both were delicious, as were the churros we had for dessert. The service was excellent, with the front of... More

Two for one cocktails great BUT took far too long to come, when food arrived the flaming bird chicken was poor not as good as Nandos. Ordered more drinks and a bottle of wine we had nearly finished when they arrived.... far too slow. Waitress great and apologised BUT not acceptable. Drinks good food average service poor.

Visited on Saturday with five friends for lunch. I've been lots of times and the food and service has always been great. On this occasion we noticed that £11 had been added to our bill as an optional charge. The service was OK but we all felt that we didn't like being told what to tip. We added a £8... More

Walk through the doors of Las Iguanas and find yourself transported to Latin America, full of rich, vibrant colours, quirky features and custom-made wooden mosaic tables made especially for the restaurant from sustainable woods in Brazil. Each restaurant is unique and the staff love bringing unusual things back from their travels, ranging from large lobster sculptures to giant drums. The philosophy of Las Iguanas is to serve delicious and authentic Latin American food and drink in an environment which evokes the very best of Latin life.
