Had a nice Sunday lunch and cocktails here with a friend on bank holiday. The food was nice but didn't get much roast beef for the price. Maybe I'm just not used to Leeds prices...

Just love this place -welcoming, relaxing and value for money. My friend and I sampled SourceForge New plates -absolutely delicious . I had the superfood plate - it was delicious but also made me feel quite virtuous - innovative, yet substantial in all the right...More

Party of four ate at Arts. Our order was delayed by 'the system going down' and sp was retaken. Unfortunately the waiter mis-ordered two of the mains (we wanted the lamb special but lamb shank arrived). So two mains arrived but the lambs went back....More

After a week of travel and trying all kinds of 'local foods' we stumbled upon Arts Cafe one evening. It's a simple but beautiful little restaurant with high airy ceilings, large windows and a stunning wooden bar. So, ambience was firing on all cylinders. As...More

We were in Leeds shopping and a friend of ours recommended this restaurant. Overall the staff were friendly, good ambience and efficient service. The menu was slightly different to some places we have been to with a mixture of Mediterranean cuisines. The platters were more...More

My daughter and I visited the Arts's Cafe on Saturday lunchtime. I have eaten here several times before with friends and enjoyed it. As vegetarians, we came with the intention of having their delicious lunch time vegetarian platter. There are different platters offered and I...More

Just had a really interesting Sunday lunch with friends. We were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices. The fish dishes are really interesting. Service was great, as I had been told. Will definitely come again!

My wife chose Bibis for our Friday night out and I chose Arts as my choice for Saturday night. My wife wasn't too sure when I told her and it's not the type of restaurant we would usually go for, but I have to say...More

Yes they are. Menu is on the website but TripAdvisor won't let me add the link. Just search Arts Leeds and you'll find it.

Either the NCP carpark by the side of the café or there is a car park at the back of the corn exchange - but depends if going day or night.

Description
The thriving centre of Leeds may be bursting at the seams with chain bars and big name restaurants but dont think for a minute theres no quirky treatments to enjoy. Arts Caf and Bar is the original hip, young Leeds hangout, combining eating, drinking and surprise local art. The bright and sunny interior, painted canary yellow and decked out in vintage-y furniture, is totally relaxed and the sort of place where you can spend a whole afternoon sipping a coffee and talking art, books and life in general. Many do. And during those long, soul searching hours you neednt go hungry, Arts offers a full a la carte menu in addition to smaller lunch dishes, which combines ethical dining with full British flavour.
