First of all, it has lovely large tables and an amazing tea selection - ideal for working on a laptop. They have delicious vegetarian and vegan options throughout the day, though their breakfasts are amazing (particularly the vegan breakfast and eggs benedict). It's quite pricey though, and the food wait is very long. Will definitely go back though when I... More

I frequent LS6 quite often, but yet again was let down by a combination of the factors outlined above and have decided I won't be coming back anymore after 10+ years of coming. I was told by the waitress that food would be around 40 minutes, which I was fine to wait for. After 1 hour I asked the waitress... More

We were picking up our son from university and popped in for breakfast before heading back to Newcastle. We had been for some 'fine dining' at a Newcastle restaraunt the night before and had a less than perfect experience. So, it was nice to come to a really nice little place, where the staff were very nice and helpful, and... More

Visited twice, forgave the first visit for food being slow as it was really busy but second time food took 45 minutes and was cold when it came - only a party of 2 so not loads to cook. Front of house staff are great but massively let down by the kitchen

Coffees are small. Tea served in a dirty pot. Breakfast warm. Service good. Nice comfortable decor probably wouldn't go again

Have given LS6 so many chances - but been pretty much mugged off every time. So I think I'm done with LS6. Service has pretty much always been terrible - very rare to go in and not be told that food is to be delayed by half an hour, an hour on top of the seeminlgy default sign that hangs... More

Hello Tim, We are sad to see that you feel like you are done with LS6. We are currently in the process of trying to combat ways to keep wait times down during the busy periods and in turn the down times as well. We recognise that the wait time is an ongoing issue, but sometimes with a sudden influx... More

We went for brunch and there was a great deal of choice, prices were reasonable and everything was freshly cooked. It is a busy place, but his just adds to the atmosphere. I love the fact brunch is served until 4.
