Excellent gluten free food and great service. Amazing food for a very reasonable price. My favourite restaurant.

I live in London, but would take the train up to Leeds to eat there again. I have good Indian friends who are excelllent cooks but Tharavadu is the best Indian food i have ever had. It reminded me of a MIchelin star restaurant.

Taking our first tentative steps into Leeds yesterday not having been out to eat since the start of lockdown last year could not have been a easier choice than to go to this restaurant. Welcomed back like family and made to feel safe and then...the food arrived, fish and chicken cooked to perfection. Huge portions so brought a doggy bag home for tonight’s tea. Thank you to all the staff who made it a special night for my husband’s birthday and we will be back soon Tony & Julie PedleyMore

Authentic coastal flavours from south India. The food showcases the true meaning of flavour and spicy food without the need to add too many chillis. Have been missing this kind of food inthe UK. Special mention to the seafood and the hospitality. Well done team...Tharavadu !More

Gorgeous food! We had a family lunch and were seated in a lovely area . Staff were attentive from the moment we walked in. Ordered a range of grilled chicken dishes, dosa and puri all of which were absolutely delicious. This restaurant is very authentic,...great Keralan flavours and would definitely go again. Highly recommend. Also excellent value for money.More

I have visited this restaurant a few years ago and love southern Indian food so as the pandemic has meant a holiday in Yorkshire this was a must as a takeaway. The food was as delicious as I’d remembered, great choice for vegetarian and a...warm welcome when I collect the takeaway. This restaurant serves genuine southern Indian food so is a great alternative to many other Indian restaurants serving standard food.More

One word...'Awesome'....you will not be disappointed I promise.!! The South Indian cuisine is truly amazing...much much better the North Indian food which is often served in Leeds. Yesterday I ordered the kidilan kozhi, paratha and malabar kozhi biriyani using the 'just eat' app yesterday and...was ready for collection in 30 mins. This was my first time and I was blown away by the exceptional quality and taste of the food. Well done Tharuvadu. I will be back for sure..More

Could not rate this place enough. Haven't been able to visit due to lockdown but have had multiple takeaways and hands down the best in Leeds. It's Keralan, so not typical Indian / Pakistani takeaway. Divine, fragrant and v high quality curries. Yes, a little...more expensive but you get what you pay for!More

We went as it has great reviews. Everything was fantastic- great vegetarian dosa, bean upperi, parippu ela curry and idli. Lemon rice and chapattis. Would like to think of something to improve just to keep them on their toes but can't. Thanks very much and...well done on the Michelin plate.More
