You won’t find a Tikka or Balti here, but for me that adds to the excitement. Fabulous flavours from fresh herbs and spices. A must visit for any curry lover.

Food was superb staff were very helpful with the service attentive but not annoying. Cost wise for what we got the price was very reasonable.

Great restaurant, excellent meal. The place was quite busy, so I had to remind the staff of my presence a couple of times, but all i. This is a great place and I shall definitely go back

Often the secret of a great chief is to prevent novel favours the customer has not eaten before. If so, the chief is a genius. The curry had extraordinarily novel flavours, based around unusual spices and combinations, for an intense, memorable experience. The chicken in...the curry was particularly good meat. The lemon rice itself was delicious, far more than just a side. Whilst the food did take a little while to come - they were very busy - the staff were lovely and unusually readily available, and speedy in fetching drinks, so my overall experience wasn't impaired.More

Good job we had a booking as the restaurant was exceptionally busy. Nice Indian decor representing images from South India. In addition to the standard Cobra and Kingfisher, drinks menu included local IPAs. Some amazing starters, I had the masala fish which had a wicked...kick of chillies, leaving a burst of flavours. For the main, the Kerala Khozi chicken dish encompassed complex but delicious flavours of South India; heat level high, perfect! Service was near perfect and nothing was too much for the waiting staff. Generally, felt the food was slightly overpriced but the drinks offered at very reasonable prices. Definitely worth returning to in the future.More

Ordered the crab curry and got more than I bargained for. What had started as a relaxing meal with friends, devolved into a vicious battle between myself and the thick shell of a crustacean's claws. Mercifully the kind waiters provided me with the perfect tools...for the job, forget nutcrackers, these were crabcrackers! I tell you it got messy, crab was flying everywhere, entirely ruining the evening of one of my companions in the process. The reward for my conquest was phenomenal, mind-blowing flavour. This was the greatest crab curry I've had in my life! Get down to Tharavadu and get face to face with the crab curry, if Alesha Dixon can do it so can you! Amen (starters were great too)More

I came to the restaurant yesterday evening. Service was slow, waiters forgot about what we had asked for and we had to keep reminding them as we were made to wait (including waiting for the card machine at the end when 3 waiters were stood...doing nothing right next to our table) simply a lack of attention to detail when it comes to service. Mains were brought out when starter plates were still on the table, leaving little space to put anything down. Empty bottles of drink were also left on our table when new drinks were brought out and I had ask the waiter if they could be cleared. I had ordered a salad and okra and asked for them to be brought out as a starter, the salad came with hard unripened avocado making the salad bitter. The okra never even came out which is what I was looking forward to the most. I ordered paneer and chapati which was very basic. The paneer sauce was watery and the chapati was not even cooked properly and was rubbery, not soft and fresh like I am used to. I had been looking forward for a while to trying this restaurant and was highly disappointed with service and quality of food. Overall it wasn’t a good experience and I was so disappointed after I had waited so long to come. Will not be recommending or returning.More
