Booked for Sunday teatime. Place was very quiet, staff friendly and welcoming. Had a drink in the bar area first. All beer is bottled and wine is sparkling. It's £5 for a bottle of beer and £48 for the wine! Loved the fact that the waiter brought out the different cuts and talked you through it. He was great. However,... More

After booking in advance as It usually is a great restaurant which I have experienced great service before, I was left disappointed with how the night was... a bit of a strange start having booked a table for 7pm when the restaurant isn't very busy we were told to sit in the bar area as the table wasn't ready yet...... Quite possibly the best steak in Leeds. The first time I went it was exceptional, the second time - although the same dish...wasn't quite as good, but still very very good. The decor, and layout along with location is excellent. Located in the upmarket streets of Park Row and the banking district. The only issue I had is on both... More

My first experience in a Gaucho restaurant and hadn't done too much research so wasn't sure what to expect but the whole experience, I'm pleased to say was excellent. The welcome, to the cocktails, to the ambience, to the service to the food...all as good as you could ask for. Our waiter (who was also the sommelier) was superb and... More

I went here with my friend to see what all the hype was about, but I found the place really over-rated. The steak was delicious but that was about it. Sides weren't anything special, especially for the price that you pay. Service was very slow, our waitress seemed to pay more attention to the bigger groups of people dining. When... More

Booked in advance for a visit to Leeds on 23rd March. As usual, the quality of the steak was up to what I have come to expect from the Gaucho chain. In addition, the service from the point of entering the restaurant, in the bar and essentially at table was all exemplary. My wife and I had a most pleasant... More

Nice location on the ground floor. Attentive service in a group of 9. Really nice wine recommendation from the waitress and the whole group happy with their food. Still not sure what the serve such tiny pots of sauce for the steak!? It's like a thimble! Come on Gaucho!

Visited here recently with friends, food was really delicious it just seems incredibly expensive for what it is. Wine prices are very high too but I guess you get what you pay for! Can't fault the service our waitress was excellent.

We had a table for seven and eat off the main menu. The steak was very good. Nice wine list. Ambiance will suit some and not others. Service was a little slow but ok overall.
