Called in for lunch today ... didn't think it was open at first luckily we saw someone sat inside. Great choice on menu lots to choose from.... we all loved our food. Found the waitress abrupt and not friendly... heard how she spoke to another table and came across quite rude. Ordered my 6 year old a milkshake which was... More

Had a day out in Haworth, a spot of Christmas shopping and a wander around the village. We've been to The Stirrup before and made straight for it at lunchtime. We weren't disappointed. Delicious food, served fairly quickly, and definitely freshly prepared. The waiting staff were very young but polite and good at their job. We like everything about this... More

We stopped off here for a sit down and a drink when it was the torch light parade , good spot for watching the parade without the rush of the crowd . The staff were lovely and welcoming . I had a cappuccino my daughter a soft drink and my sister a latte. The cappuccino was nice but on returning... More

Howarth is a very busy little place, especially on holidays. The restaurants get busy very quickly. If you expect to walk in a get seated immediately then you might be disappointed. Have a thought for the staff that work here, at times they never stop. You can ring and book a table so that solves the seating issue. The food... More

I visited for breakfast with a friend on 17th December and received a warm welcome from a young man the moment we walkedthrough the door. The food was delicious and I felt we were treated as though we were enjoying an evening of fine dining....attentive polite staff, well done !

We came for our evening meal and were very happy with the food and service. We both had the slow cooked Lamb that was cooked to perfection. Friendly service, very reasonably priced we would definitely return

On arrival, we were told by 'Front of House' to find a table and we would be dealt with shortly! There were about 5 tables available and it was fairly busy. After nearly ten minutes of waiting, and two waitresses having passed us but never returned, I asked the chef who was serving food to a table, for menus. He... More

After being thrown out through the front door many years ago from this establishment, not these owners I hasten to add, I exorcised my demons by visiting again. Coffee, scones, jam and service were all first class. And I wasn't thrown out this time.
