Food was tasty but it was a bit noisy for decent conversation.

Our friends brought us here and recommended certain dishes. There was a wait to be seated and when we sat we found it difficult to speak properly as there was so much noise form other diners and music etc. The menu was far more expensive than anticipated some steaks are £30 which personally I wouldn't never pay. Also there was so much on the menu that wasn't available which we weren't informed about prior to making a menu choice ....this is very frustrating when you've finally made your mind up about what you'd like to eat and then someone comes to take your order and only then are you told it isn't available. However on the plus side the steaks we had were succulent and tasty, to be recommended 😋 veg are steamed not roasted, chips aren't special, you can add egg etc so you won't feel hungry at all. Didn't see a sweet menu, we were all quite full after the main meal. Would like to try this place on a less busy day and perhaps try something other than the steaks...like tilapia, sea bass.. that is if they are available. Also be aware that they only accepted cash....

Kinda slow service but the food makes up for it

Quite surprised that this place has so many poor reviews we came recently- myself my fiancé and friend and thought it was great. We had a short wait for a table which we didn’t mind and waited a long time for staff to take our order but it was pretty busy. Our drinks were brought over quickly, I thought the mock tails looked nice but no prices on the menu put me off a little. We got the mixed starter- the calamari was the best I’ve had the coating was so crispy and I never usually have lamb chop but that was so tender and flavoursome. The rest of the starter was great as were the jalapeño cheese bites. For mains we ordered 3 toro’s special sirloin steaks. The steak itself was cooked just how I like it and my partner was really impressed with his too! The meat was incredibly tender and well seasoned. The only downside here was that as they are served on sizzler plates the majority of my pasta side just got burnt black from the plate but I’d still go again just for the steak. Unfortunately when we got there they didn’t have a cash only sign at the door only on the till so we didn’t see until part way through our meal, it would have been helpful if the wait staff mentioned this when seating us as we had no cash and my friend had to nip home for some.

Good meat…that’s about it

Firstly it’s cash only(?). Meat itself was very nice. The vegetables are cheap frozen veg so not impressive. The sauce is in a small ramekin, making it difficult to pour on your meat. Asked for butter for potatoes and was told they “don’t do that” there. The staff were young and inexperienced. Very casual place which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for but it’s not the cheapest. Save your money for a proper steakhouse if you’re looking for a proper meal and proper service.

Pleasantly surprised

Visited with my partner on a Thursday evening around 9pm. We were seated promptly and our server was very polite and efficient. Food was of a good standard. Our chops cooked as requested and tasted wonderful. We ordered sizzler main with extras and finished it off with a sizzler cake. Both of us left full and were more than happy with the service and food. Will be sure to visit the next time were in Bradford. Thanks guys!

Terrible Steak

This was my first and last visit to Toros. For the price point I expected better. From the menu I was going to choose the dry aged meat however as a first visit I thought I’d try the T bone steak instead. My intention was that if they got the T bone steak right I would come back and try the dry aged meat. I ordered a medium T bone steak but what I received was over cooked and very chewy and dry. This was worsened by the food being served on cast iron griddle. This meant the juices from the meat drained out onto the vegetables underneath, furthermore by the time I had eaten the steak the vegetables and mash were burnt and turned to mush. My advice, stay clear of this place.

Big portions of hot tasty food served on a sizzler plate. Its a challenge to finish it all but I haven't been defeated yet!! Only downside, make sure the steaks have been trimmed of fat. You're paying for the meat and not the fat!!

No one on this planet can beat Toro's Lamb 🥩

When ever me and my mrs go out for steak we don't look anywhere else but Toro's, we went on 25 August 2022 I have to say Toro's is beating there own high standards. the lamb 🥩 was cooked to perfection, it was melting in our mouth, the sides we order were absolutely delicious and the service provided by Ismail was second to none. In the whole Yorkshire Toro's should be the first choice for 🥩. Thanks Toro's for amazing food.

I have been here twice. The first visit was June 2022. The food was lovely, beautifully cooked and generous portion. It was a big portion, with a lovely variety. The second visit was November 2022. Again, lovely food, cooked to perfection, however the portion was a lot smaller. Why change things when they are ok to begin with? the drinks were great, we had mocktails. food great portion size varies from each visit toilet facilities need work as not clean on both my visits staff were friendly parking is difficult food is halal

Our second visit here, surprisingly you don't have to book ahead and there was four of us, first time a bit of a wait second time straight in. We found the staff in general to be very helpful, kind and responsive. It is a busy restaurant and can be noisy depending on the patrons. Portions are great and you can mix and match, food has been piping hot just as it should be and very tasty. Steaks are tender and good sized there weren't a lot of vegetables though, in fact miniscule amount. We have had the lamb chop starters which are a good size and tried the beef cigars which is small then Torros special with fries and coleslaw, you get a choice of sauces which come separately. The drinks menu isn't always fully available. The puddings are also very well presented. I don't know where people get the idea you have to pay cash as each time we've been we've used thir card facility no problem. If you enjoy steaks you'll enjoy Toro.

Toros Bday Disappointment

Not sure what’s happened but Very disappointed with our last few visits, on this occasion I took kids for their birthday as they love toros but on this occasion the T Bones were like rubber literally could not even get a fork into 2 out of 3 of them. Spoke to the waiter who exchanged it for a couple of kids pieces of sirloin. Kids did not eat the T Bone nor the sirloin. A disappointing outcome. Had to grab some happy meals on the way home. We will not be coming again, it definitely is not worth the price. Gone very down hill recently. Rather drive to etci in Manchester and get a bang for your Buck. That being said the waiter was really polite and professional. The place was clean and ambient. Try it you may have a different experience (hopefully). But me I will not be stung again by Toro’s Bradford.

Terrible food and the joke is pay for your water!

Visited with family after a number of years - ordered steaks - lamb was chewy and grisly and the chicken looked like it had been involved in a car crash. Asked for some water and told I had to pay for it. £5 for a bottle and no offer of tap water horrendous. First time been to a restaurant that doesn’t even offer you a glass of water for free.

Ordered the lamb sizzler medium well and chicken sizzler med well steak with rustic chips and mash and my god was we all blown away! Cooked to perfection, taste absolutely on point! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and staff. Waitress Yazmin took good care of us. Excellent customer service from ismail. Will definitely be dining at toros again.

Wrote a google review, however wanted to write a review on here as toros is rated 3 and half stars on here which I don't understand. Second time in this restaurant now. Experience & food was absolutely 10/10 once again. I was served by Zain who recommended me the 48 DRY AGED Sirloin. He was absolutely BRILLIANT to talk to and brought some smiles to the table. He helped me decide what to choose as I asked him quite a few questions in which he was very patient. The Sirloin was incredible, juicy and cooked to perfection in my opinion. LOVED IT overall. Definitely coming soon again!!

Torros was nice. The service was good. Although youngsters employed, they could to with spreading out to be honest. Derrum and Ayesha were brilliant. They kept an eye on my boy whom had autism and made sure they gave him plenty of space to run around in. Derrum serviced us very well....looked after us and service was with a smile :-).... top lad great manager .....we will return again from Manchester.

Worst customer service

Absolutely awful experience. Made a booking for a birthday party only to be told a booking had not been made. Heard various other waiters telling others who had also claimed to book that their booking did not exist. Would not recommend. Shocking service.
