Our kids treated us to afternoon tea for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had been before, 5 years ago (it was better then). The venue is beautiful and the garden room where you take tea is very pleasant. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Now - this afternoon tea is not cheap at £15+ per head. There were 4 finger... Lovely range of food, coffee and tea served in a great setting. We were not offered extra sandwiches which i don't THINK is normal? During my last visit here we were offered them, and on my latest visit the table at the side was as well. I didn't want to say anything for fear of making a fuss.

We have been to two weddings here which were made truly outstanding by this venue, every detail was given the proper attention..Staying overnight was luxurious at a sensible cost & breakfast superb. Look forward to the next event.

We visited Coombe Abbey for Afternoon Tea, we have visited previously and eaten in the restaurant but not had tea. I had the Abbott's Afternoon Tea with a glass of prosecco and my husband had the Knight's Gentleman's Afternoon Tea which included 1/2 pint of Ale of Coombe. There was a bit of a wait for the food once it... More

After being invited to Coombe Abbey for afternoon tea, I was quite worried as it is a place that I had never been to. I donned on a smart dress and went to meet family. What a lovely surprise, I think I would have felt comfortable in anything [except my pyjamas] and what a lovely place it is. I would... More

We recently attended a Medieval Banquet at the Hotel and had such a fun time! The setting is fabulous. The drive up to the Hotel is gorgeous and the Hotel itself just stunning and in lovely grounds. The Banquet is held in the Abbey Gate, to the side of the main Hotel. However, we did have a little look in... More

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon which was a gift to us. The setting is lovely and the room itself laid out beautifully. The food was delicious, especially the cheese and chutney sandwiches. The staff were attentive. They don't cater for children specifically which was disappointing, but they did make some changes so they could have plainer sandwiches. Some places offer... More

We have just returned from our second stay at this brilliant hotel. The house and grounds must be seen to be believed and will certainly be a surprise. The staff are all friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you want. The food is outstanding in both quality and flavour and the chef, kitchen, restaurant,... More
