Had afternoon tea for two and even though i felt a little intimidated being in such a posh place i was made to feel so welcome. The food was delish and the staff were amazing.

This was a 2 day break with dinner included. Well away from the city and impressive drive upto the hotel where the reception manager was very helpful . Our room was fantastic with a view of the gardens . Old fashioned with a 4 poster but super stylish. Food was good. Great place for a break

Out 2nd visit to Coombe Abbey for Afternoon Tea and we were slightly disappointed. We evaded paying the £2 car parking charge as the barrier was broken but was surprised there was a charge to hotel visitors. We were seated on time and the surroundings were lovely. Staff were very attentive and our order was taken within 5-10 minutes. Our... More

This is a venue in the Hotel on some Fridays and Saturday nights Amazing location. Food great (4 courses) Lots of mead ,ale and wine Also a kind of a play by staff telling a story which is hilarious. You can dress up in medieval costume if you like as well

Hubby and I were visiting from Australia and this was something I wanted to do. High tea in the garden restaurant, great experience and the service was good. The room itself is very special, lovely surrounds. Food was good, I have had a better high tea but this one was pretty good. Loved the experience and would recommend it.

We visited as a family for a birthday having visited many times before for special occasions we thought that this would be an excellent choice . Sadly on this occasion we were wrong , we appreciate that they are very busy , we had to book two months in advance to ensure that we got a table on the date... More

We thought the afternoon tea might disappoint the second time round due to losing the element of suprise...it most definitely did not. The Knight's Tea consisted of an excellent "Dirty Burger" and Sausage roll. It would appear there are far more savoury and far less sweet treats forming this course now. Maybe too many men complained they didn't feel manly... More
