I have been there several times and food is quick and tasty. A little "soulless", and the facilities are very basic and do nothing to enhance the restaurant. However we were there for the food. Menu can by a little off putting but there was always someone there to explain some of the dishes. Food arrived not long after we... More

Had such high hopes for this place after reading the reviews. I ordered the spring rolls which were completely tasteless, prawn toast which appeared to have no prawn so was basically fried bread. I held out for the main expecting better and was disappointed yet again. I ordered the two roasts, duck and belly of pork and the pork was... More

We visited on a Wednesday lunchtime. We had a delicious and extremely reasonably priced meal. My only criticism was that one meal was served five minutes before the other. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of the city and a much cheaper alternative than all the chain restaurants.

Went to China town in Birmingham for the first time last Saturday and after having a good walk around opted for this restaurant. The reason that we chose it was (1) The roast duck and cooked meats hanging in the window looked good (2) it was full of Chinese and Malaysian people (always a good sign) The decor and tables... Had a wonder around China town as never been prior to treating our team to a few days away in May and came across the Malaysian Delight. As with China Town London a good guide is the customers and it was full of locals. Just had shared spring rolls and a main each and both were tasty and generous portions.... More

I went here with friends prior to going clubbing. I had a malaysian chicken curry dish, which was really tasty. A unique flavour part way between Indian and Chinese in perfect balance. My friends were pleased with their dishes too. All in all a nice change from the surrounding Chinese restaurants, if that is what you fancy.

You always can tell a good restaurant - the natives of the country concerned eat there! The transport cafe interior belies the excellent food which is created in the busy kitchen. The fried noodles are absolutely amazing - my wife ate more than half mine! Look at what the Malay customers are eating and follow their lead. On leaving don't... More

This places doesn't pull punches when it comes to decor and appearance but that doesn't bother me as it's all about the food. My tip: Birmingham is restaurant city and I would always look at who's eating where and what. This restaurant had a lot of Malaysians eating there which to me is good sign. I had the beef rendang... Very good Chinese/Malaysian food. Food is both very tasty and very authentic. The interior is rather basic so do not come here expecting great ambience. Service was polite and efficient.
