If your after a decent bit to eat along hurst street before hitting the town this isn't a bad choice at all. Limited menu but chicken burgers and beef burgers available..... food very nice and service friendly with a smile. Sat out in the bar area as the dining area was full, looked like a party. I would ask on... More

Visited Loft for a pre drink before a gig on a Monday night to find there were no cocktail offers on any longer which was a bit disappointing. Can't help but think the hike in already expensive drinks is paying for the recent makeover. I used to think this was the place to go for drinks on the scene, was... More

Totally shocked when walked in and saw the revamp. It's awful. Looks cheap and tacky. The whole vibe had changed. It was our fave bar in Brum to chill & have a few drinks. Spoke to others who have said the same. What a shame. Won't be back 😟

What's happened to this place? I use to come here every weekend and it's been ruined by new management or staff. Yes the place has been refurbished but it doesn't hide the arrogance/rudeness of the staff and different feel of the place. I met up with a large group of friends for a friends birthday. Ordered vodka, they did not... More

The place has recently been been decorated to a Mexican tapas type feel from its previous glamorous boutique style and I can see from reviews below that this has divided opinion. I liked both but guess it depends on your personal taste. We had a late lunch here on the Saturday and Sunday lunch the following day. Both meals were... More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon before going to the Hippodrome. The atmosphere was very pleasant, we were quickly seated by a very friendly member of staff, who clearly new his job well. The meals were freshly cooked, very good quality and reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again.

I and a companion used this establishment as a place to eat between two related events round the corner in Duke Street. Although we were clocked by the bar staff on entry, there seemed to be no set way of ordering food and the kitchens seemed understaffed. Eventually we ordered at the bar. The food was not good. The steak... More
