The deco is tasteful, the staff polite and friendly and the food is exceptionally good. Although the prices are on the high side, this experience is worth every penny.

Simply put the best Indian restaurant in Birmingham. Expect to pay around £40pp however it is definitely worth it. It's worth visiting to sample their tandoori menu alone. You'll find it hard to find a better tandoor in Birmingham. The food out of there is...More

There aren’t that many places that you can get ‘Indian’ food in Birmingham. There are a lot of Bengali and Pakistani restaurants but not many Indian ones. The few ones there are, might have good food but the decor or the service lets it down....More

This is a good restaurant and the food is very authentic. The portion sizes are fairly large and the service was good. The restaurant is well laid out and the staff friendly. It is however quite high priced, for example mains are around 15-16 pounds.

We were looking for a good biryani after getting tired of the anglicized Bangladeshi 'Indian' restaurant and bumped in to this one in the city center. We booked and the table was ready in 20 mins. The kids enjoyed the vegetarian selection and we like...More

Birmingham now has its very own brimful of Asha right here on Newhall Street. We're not kidding, Asha's is the latest addition to legendary Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle's empire. Following on from the success of restaurants in Kuwait and Dubai this is a place where fans of Indian music and Indian food can combine their passions. The space is large but intimate, decorated in a warm, welcoming style. And if you were concerned about theme-ish menus worry no more, from the fabulous Tandoori kebabs to the unmissable curries you'll be singing the praises of Asha's food all the way home.
