Had the 6 course menu with wine and it was exceptional (as expected). The ambience of the restaurant is a key attraction as it doesn't feel overcrowded and noisy. Each course was explained by the waiter. We had 2 vegetarians with us who were adequately...More

Came here with my boyfriend and sister for a special celebration meal. We went for the "10 years in the Making" 9 course tasting menu. The service was good throughout the evening, and the wine we had with the meal was fantastic. We really enjoyed...More

We treated ourselves to the Brummie Tapas at Purnells last night and had a fantastic night. The setting is quite interesting as you share a table with other diners, but we didn't really get chance to speak much to them so it maybe took a...More

Lunch at Purnell's with my daughter, Emily was a wonderful experience. Creative cooking, beautifully presented dishes, attentive waiting staff but most of all the wonderful combination of flavours. Absolutely delicious and great value for a Michelin starred restaurant.
