My wife and I visited on 13/11/2017 out and had a fantastic meal. It was a first class Indian restaurant, very sophisticated but equally friendly. The food was delicious and the service impeccable and I would happily recommend it to anyone.

Great restaurant with lovely food, my personal favourites are the Rajasthani tikka, papdi chaat and chicken Balti, mocktails are great too my only issue was that it took too long to come out despite the restaurant not being at it's full capacity

How do they live with themselves? Food on par as tasteless cardboard. Whipped up fancifully in a showcase of of over indulgent drab surroundings service was slow regret booking our friends event here.

I lived in India for more than one year in Bengaluru and Mumbai. When I returned I had lost my apetite for Indian food. But no more - this place is fantastic in every detail, I strongly recommend it.

Rushed all the way through from entering the restaurant, uncooked food served (tasteless)!!!, no hospitality provided by waiters no one asked if the food was okay or not... The food was left behind...not visiting this place again!!

Description
Itihaas is a stunning restaurant where contemporary meets traditional. No expense has been spared in achieving this, and as you step into this two million pounds restaurant, you will certainly see just that. The decor is clean and crisp with plate glass and slate finished walls. This smart and sophisticated interior is complimented by the 18th and 19th century Indian artefacts, including original paintings, carved stone elephants and 300 year old doors. Downstairs, the Maharaja Suite which also seats 80 is luxurious with opulent mood lighting and decorated with more Indian treasures. To complete the real ambience, behind 300 year old Indian wooden doors is the Tiffin Room which seats 12, complete with a bar, library and your very own dedicated butler!Cuisine in this fine establishment is created by award winning chefs and staff who come from Indian Five-Star Hotel backgrounds. They have a single aim - to be able to deliver the authentic Royal Indian dining experience to its patrons with utmost courtesy and hospitality. The menu will take you on a culinary journey through the North of India with a couple of stops through Kenya and vibrant Mumbai. At this royal eatery, indulgence is paramount.
