An away trip to Birmingham is never complete without a regular visit to the Best Curry house in the City. A lovely ambience, great service and spectacular food makes every visit a great experience. Both Al and Abdul in front of house offer the most...welcoming of service with nothing too much trouble. Place this restaurant on your Bucket ListMore
Was recommended to me after a less than spectacular curry elsewhere. So glad I went, extremely friendly service, delicious food, the chicken tikka naga was well tasty, cool cobra and give the Indian wine a try, delicious. Will be back!
Everyone has that special Curry House and well, this is mine. My go to whenever I want a decent curry. And the staff are superb - they are always friendly and welcoming. They make you feel as though you’ve known them for years. And although...yes I have, I’m sure I am just another face to them but it’s always a personal touch that I think really adds to the enjoyable experience of dining here.More

Came to the Taj Mahal after doing a quick google search. Service was very quick from start. As far as Indian restaurants go this was as good as any I had eaten at recently. For a main I ordered chicken dupiaza as recommended by the...waiter. It was extreme tasty. Would return if in the area.More
Was staying overnight on business trip and didn’t fancy the hotel menu . Gem of a find after research on Tripadvisor. Didn’t book although it was reasonably busy on a school night which speaks volumes . Really friendly staff , very accommodating . The food...was lovely and reasonably priced . Thoroughly recommended.More
I took my wife for a Belated Romantic Valentine meal last night and what a meal it was.We were not let down the service was first class the starters were full of taste and spices and well blended. Our main meal was so taste full...and the Lentil side dish was brillant and to finish the meal and night the Brandy Coffee could not be beatenMore
arrived at 6pm on a saturday, service was very quick. curries were ok but mine was a little too salty. prices not extortionate, but certainly not cheap either.
We visited Birmingham for 48 hours and decided that we had to try an Indian meal! We googled restaurants near to our hotel and came across the Taj Mahal. Even though we were aiming for an early evening meal we decided to book. The restaurant...is not easy to find but is worth the effort! We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal.More
