This place has a fantastic 1940s atmosphere, the two chaps running the place want you to feel like you are in their home. Although that sounds like it wouldn't work it really does. Afternoon tea was great and the owners really friendly. Will go back...More

Great atmosphere and service again. Kept a Vegan & Omni well fed. Lovely unusual dishes. Topped off with an amazing dessert. These guys work long hours but are always very polite, unintrusive but will happily chat and take onboard suggestions.

Description
Our names are Rob & Rich and we are the proprietors of what we hope you will agree is a quirky, unique and simply delightful restaurant / cafe. Our idea is make you feel like not dining at the restaurant but like being invited to someone's house for lunch or tea in friendly, cosy, and a very inviting and relaxing atmosphere. We want everyone to feel at home here…. just as if you are in our sitting room for lunch or tea – not dining out at a restaurant. Ours is an old-fashioned sitting room with individual quirky touches, such as our unique bowler hat lights and a gramophone with 80’s hits! Our style of food marries English & Polish cuisine with other European influences. We offer a selection of loose-leaf teas, coffees, home cooked food, freshly made in our kitchen Irish soda bread and cakes, homemade jams and our SPECIAL HOMEMADE GINS: RHUBARB AND LEMON GIN
