Had a really good takeaway from Warwick Spice this evening. Good sized portions and the Vegetable Sagwalla and Dall were amazing as always. Delivered according to timescale. A nice Mothers’ Day treat!

Ordered a takeaway for the family. Balti dryer than a granny's bits..hardly any sauce in the curr, curry lukewarm at best. The rice's and chips we ordered were stone cold..rice was like dry tasteless mush! When you've ordered over £45 worth of food, they could have a...least made sure the food was hot and a decent standard of quality. Food went in the bin!! Had problems before and returned. We won't make that mistake again,sad..it used to be the best indian restaurant in warwick..what's happened?More
Miss communication checked internet said 5pm so headed there. It was all in darkness very cold night so had a hot chocolate shop across. Went over about 5.20 lights on and went in only to meet by a very rude man to say come back...in 8 minutes. It was a real cold night did not even offer to let me just waiting the internet clearly said 5pm will not be returning customer service let them down .More
Missing part of our order. When we tried to sort it we were met with very rude staff. The order was not only short of a dish but two of the sides were very short. Only half of what we would normally expect.
We had a fantastic meal with our friends and the staff were very friendly. The only thins was the tables were very close together which made it difficult to move between.
A party of 19 of us went from our curry club. This restaurant has a good reputation, but I hadn't been before. The service was friendly and efficient, there is a good menu with a wide range of dishes and the quality of the food...was first rate. We were accompanied by live sitar music. Parking in the area is constrained, little on Smith Street itself, but there is usually room in The Butts nearby in the evening (card payment).More
We visited Saturday. Ishtar and the place was busy but the staff were very nice friendly Food was very good
This was a family favourite of ours until we asked to take the food we hadn’t eaten away with us and they literally just slopped our different curries into one big container including my vegetarian dishes mixed with my families meat dishes! I emailed them...and wrote on Facebook for some kind of explanation but I was just continuously ignored. We will not be returning and shall be advising all of our friends and holiday guests to eat at other restaurants rather than here!More
Looking for somewhere to eat later on a Monday night and found this gem. Offering a different and varied Indian and Bangladeshi menu. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and took time to explain he menu and what different dishes were like. Great food at...a good price, highly recommended.More
I terribly wish I had not given this place any of my money; with only two nights in Warwick, I’m sure there are much more deserving establishments. I ordered chicken makhoni, rice, and paratha. After making peace with the thick layer of oil that settled...on top, I was astonished that the dish was—more than anything else—sweet?! I feel ill after eating it — not because of poor quality, but because I ate an entire main course that was creamy dessert. The paratha was excellent.More
Such lovely service and amazing curry! We had a lovely time. Very yummy food and not surprised they have so many awards. Definitely worth a visit Xx
Went here after a recommendation from friends and so glad we did. One of the best Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants I’ve ever been to. Friendly, attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere and the food we had was some of the best we’ve ever had! Super tasty, not oily, just...yum. Try it!More
My husband and I popped into this restaurant on a Monday night at 8pm. I always like a window seat if possible. We were met by the waiter, and we asked if we could have a table for 2 in the window. The place is...on 2 levels, the upper level was virtually empty, 2 tables full. The window had 2 tables of 4, empty and unreserved. The waiter said no, we asked why not, he said he would ask his boss. The boss came over and told us they were reserved for disabled customers......we said it was just us 2 and we like a window because of my claustrophobia. The manager said no!!! My husband was quite perplexed by this and told him we would be passing the word on that they were not very accommodating, he said fine, do so.......never, ever, going back there!More
Ordered takeaway last night when staying with family, for a quick and easy meal. Delivery was very fast. As per usual we ordered 3 main dishes to go round 4 adults, (which we usually have leftovers from) chicken Tikka tandoori, chicken shashlik and a chicken...Korma, along with peshwari naan and chicken pakora. The quantity was appalling. The tikka had 6, (I kid you not) small pieces of chicken, which together looked about the same size as a single fish finger, in a layer on the bottom of the plastic container, the onions were in a greasy puddle on one side. It didn't even sit at 1/3 of the height of the dish. The korma, had 7 small pieces and although the container was full, Id say it was 90% sauce. I called the restaurant to enquire if we had been sent the starter sizes in error (Thats how small the portions were) only to be told that the cost of everything has gone up and that's why there was less food? Surely, if you're supplying food you have sold for many years, you raise the prices to cover the cost, rather than reducing portion size, especially as a result, there was nowhere near enough to go round. I wasn't asking for anything refunded etc, simply just to ask if we had been incorrectly supplied with a starter size and then was planning to ask for an extra couple of portions in a new order? The male on the phone asked if I could count the chicken in the korma, and when I told him there were 7 small pieces, he said thats correct, even though together they would have totalled less weight than half a chicken breast? He said 6 small pieces for a tikka tandoori, is correct, a starter would have 4 (Which could have all fitted on one fork, with space to spare and certainly wouldn't even really be a mouthful for anyone over the age of 5) He then asked me to count the other dish, I told him there was about 5 pieces, he said "There's no way there would be just 5 pieces, so lets just leave it at that" and then hung up? The sundries were good, the food was relatively tasty, however the customer service and value for money was atrocious. Will not order from here again.More
We ordered chicken makhoni from here and again was shocked at how down hill the food has gone, the food turned up freezing cold..Not a great start. This is not the first time lately we've been disappointed at the lack of quality of food, however we stayed...faithful as everyone deserves a couple of chances. I opened the curry and it was like red watery soup, not the thick creamy sauce it used to be or even should be. Chicken was solid.. Chips and nan bread cold. God knows how long it had been sat around before it arrived at ours. The food went in the bin We complained and got a refund and an apology, however we'll never return to this establishment after years of eating there as there are far more competent restaurants in the town deserving of our custom,we visited a different Indian restaurant in warwick town centre and sadly it put this place to shame. It seems they've skimped on quality of food while also raising prices, but you can only take customers for granted for so long!More
