We decided to come here for dinner. Based on the reviews and the menu on the website. The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. Everything was really nice. The Naan’s though were exceptional. For 4 adults and two children with food, drinks and dessert the bill was very reasonable indeed. Next time we are in the Warwick area we will definitely return.

My wife and I visited Warwick spice a few years ago, it was a fantastic experience. The waiters were helpful as was the chef in making sure we ordered the food that suited what we wanted. This year it’s been our go to takeaway. Food still consistently excellent. Lambs achari, lamb methi and chicken jalfrezi were all very very good. Would recommend highly.

The food was very good value, at around £7-8 for a main rice £2-3. All came out very hot, Pathia was excellent and chilli massala was very spicy as it should be. Good price on beer too at under £4 for a draught pint. Best part of the night was the staff. very attentive and very nice, felt like they wanted us there rather than some establishments. thank you.

Our booking experience was very easy & a table or 4 was available for the bank holiday weekend. The staff were polite & attentive. The food was the major let down, the dishes were overly sweet. . Our children love Korma but this was not as we have ever had it before, I think that chicken in a caramel sauce would have been a better description. The sauces were vibrant red, especially in the Chef special ‘ Jingha Masalla’, which seemed to be prawns in a super sweet sauce, which was pretty much identical to our starter King Prawn Pathia Puri Our bill came to £89 with starters,3 main dishes, rice & papadoms and 4 drinks. Not a cheap meal, especially when you leave lots. We were highly disappointed.

Really nice tasty well cooked food, served efficiently and good portions. Staff were lovely & on top of everything, great service. Roshun was the table favourite. Price is very reasonable for the quality, just under £50 for poppadoms, 3 starters, 3 curries, 2 rice & 2 naan, plus 4 soft drinks! We’ll definitely be back

We ordered chicken makhoni from here and again was shocked at how down hill the food has gone, the food turned up freezing cold..Not a great start. This is not the first time lately we've been disappointed at the lack of quality of food, however we stayed faithful as everyone deserves a couple of chances. I opened the curry and it was like red watery soup, not the thick creamy sauce it used to be or even should be. Chicken was solid.. Chips and nan bread cold. God knows how long it had been sat around before it arrived at ours. The food went in the bin We complained and got a refund and an apology, however we'll never return to this establishment after years of eating there as there are far more competent restaurants in the town deserving of our custom,we visited a different Indian restaurant in warwick town centre and sadly it put this place to shame. It seems they've skimped on quality of food while also raising prices, but you can only take customers for granted for so long!

I was aware over lockdown that we had increasingly used apps like Deliveroo to order Indian food but since we had moved to Leamington 15 years ago Warwick Spice had been our favourite. Hence, before Christmas, I ordered a delivery from Warwick Spice as was worried their business may have been impacted on during the pandemic. Sadly, the food was very slow to arrive and not great to eat. I rang to enquire about the delay and the member of staff was curt and rude and complained about the size of my order - now my children are teenagers they order meals too so there was food for 4 of us, including some starters and sides. I felt really sad about this - I'd used the restaurant a lot over the years, recommending it to many people and taking friends and work colleagues there. In the past, the kids had taken me there for Father's Days and Birthdays. We'll now use other restaurants and fortunately there are good places in Leamington as I was left with the feeling that my custom or loyalty wasn't valued by Warwick Spice.

Ordered takeaway last night when staying with family, for a quick and easy meal. Delivery was very fast. As per usual we ordered 3 main dishes to go round 4 adults, (which we usually have leftovers from) chicken Tikka tandoori, chicken shashlik and a chicken Korma, along with peshwari naan and chicken pakora. The quantity was appalling. The tikka had 6, (I kid you not) small pieces of chicken, which together looked about the same size as a single fish finger, in a layer on the bottom of the plastic container, the onions were in a greasy puddle on one side. It didn't even sit at 1/3 of the height of the dish. The korma, had 7 small pieces and although the container was full, Id say it was 90% sauce. I called the restaurant to enquire if we had been sent the starter sizes in error (Thats how small the portions were) only to be told that the cost of everything has gone up and that's why there was less food? Surely, if you're supplying food you have sold for many years, you raise the prices to cover the cost, rather than reducing portion size, especially as a result, there was nowhere near enough to go round. I wasn't asking for anything refunded etc, simply just to ask if we had been incorrectly supplied with a starter size and then was planning to ask for an extra couple of portions in a new order? The male on the phone asked if I could count the chicken in the korma, and when I told him there were 7 small pieces, he said thats correct, even though together they would have totalled less weight than half a chicken breast? He said 6 small pieces for a tikka tandoori, is correct, a starter would have 4 (Which could have all fitted on one fork, with space to spare and certainly wouldn't even really be a mouthful for anyone over the age of 5) He then asked me to count the other dish, I told him there was about 5 pieces, he said "There's no way there would be just 5 pieces, so lets just leave it at that" and then hung up? The sundries were good, the food was relatively tasty, however the customer service and value for money was atrocious. Will not order from here again.

We have tried a few different Indian restaurants in Warwick but Warwick spice is absolutely the best. We ordered take away tonight as a last minute decision. They delivered within the timeframe they said they would, the food was hot and delicious. The portion sizes are decent so we even have leftovers! Really really pleased.

Managed to walk in without a reservation at about 7 o'clock on a Saturday night. Food was average, we both had chicken jaipuri, the chicken wasn't the best quality and contained gristle and quite a few bones, the sauce was very tasty and hot! Portion sizes are very generous, we could have easily shared one portion between us, glad we didn't go mad and order starters. Staff are very pleasant and eager to please, we weren't blown away by our experience and if we're ever in Warwick again would definitely eat elsewhere.

The food is always very good, the recommendations and openness to customers making special requests is second to none, and the service is so warm, generous, hospitable and understated. We always feel as if we're going to see old friends whenever we go to Warwick Spice, whether as a couple or with friends and family. Take-away and home delivery are also always just as good, and in fact the portions are sometimes even more generous than when eating in-house. Popping in at Christmas or on one of the "Sitar Nights" is even more of a treat, if such a thing is possible. We're so delighted that Warwick Spice have kept their heads above water through lockdown, and we have appreciated enjoyed their wonderful takeaway service through the last year. They were also the very first place we ate out last week, post-lockdown. Thank you!!!

Ordered a takeaway for the family. Balti dryer than a granny's bits..hardly any sauce in the curr, curry lukewarm at best. The rice's and chips we ordered were stone cold..rice was like dry tasteless mush! When you've ordered over £45 worth of food, they could have a least made sure the food was hot and a decent standard of quality. Food went in the bin!! Had problems before and returned. We won't make that mistake again,sad..it used to be the best indian restaurant in warwick..what's happened?

To be honest we are from Coventry where there are loads of curry houses and if you are rubbish you go out of business fast. It seems that in Warwick (small town/hillbilly) you folk really need to venture out and experience real curry. Whilst I respect your opinions, I feel that opening your palette and horizons would benefit you greatly. This food is created for you, privileged and bland. I was utterly disgusted by this meal and did not eat it. To be honest why I paid is beyond me.

Looking for somewhere to eat later on a Monday night and found this gem. Offering a different and varied Indian and Bangladeshi menu. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and took time to explain he menu and what different dishes were like. Great food at a good price, highly recommended.

Booked for two people as our usual restaurant (just down the road) has gone right off. The dhansak was the best I've eaten in years-thick sweet, sour and hot with loads of chicken and virtually no floating oil. My husband had a speciality curry which was equally as good. When you get a curry that you just can’t stop eating even though you are stuffed, is a good sign. This is exactly what happened. The naan bread was so fluffy and fresh out of the tandoor. This is now our new favourite restaurant. Also, the staff are lovely and accommodating.
