We ordered afternoon tea, the sandwich choices were vegan and vegetarian, so it possible to get catered with these options. The food in general was very nice and the pots were very vintage-y and cute! The house itself is very unique and lovely, great experience for people with interest in historical architecture.

Warwick’s Thomas Oken Tea Rooms are a short walk from the castle and a great way to top off any visit to Warwick. 6 reasons why you should raise a pinky: 1. Beautiful 500-year-old plus building with upstairs and downstairs sections 2. Best scones ever – apologies to both mum and nanna, but they are 3. Good menu of cakes... More

I have visited Thomas Oken tearooms a few times and it has never disappointed. Tasty gluten free traditional afternoon tea combined with a lovely atmosphere - what more do you want!

We were visiting the castle and decided to stop here for a cup of tea first and sat in a largish downstairs room where one of the tables has a suit of armour sat at it in the corner! The service was efficient and friendly. On the way out of the castle about half 3ish in the afternoon we decided... More

Thomas Oken's is my go-to tearoom whenever I'm in Warwick. The service is friendly, the offerings are simple, fresh and well-prepared, and the selection of teas is classy. This time my companion chose the ham and cheese toastie. I had some dietary restrictions on my own sandwich which were met with no problems at all. We saved room for cake:... More

We had a fabulous time here on new years eve and stayed much longer than planned - having to curtail our visit to the castle. The food, service and total experience was so warm and welcoming. We brought friends from Germany who were also overwhelmed with the choice and quality. Simply Fabulous!

We enjoyed our short visit, warming ourselves in this lovely elizabethan house with historic meaning. Delicious hot chocolate, I heard and a limited but qualitative choice of beer and cider.

Stopped here while walking round Warwick near the castle. Received a friendly welcome. Very cosy surroundings. We had sandwiches for a light lunch. Beef with horseradish for me and Welsh rarebit for my partner. Delicious.

after a long day at the castle we stopped in at Thomas Oken Tea Rooms. The owner and his wife were very friendly and the cakes were delicious. Unfortunately the has run out of scones but the Victoria sponge was lovely. They serve the tea in old fashioned tea sets, nice touch.

Regular visitor to the tea rooms. Sandwiches on fresh bread with lovely fillings - roast beef or ham recommended. Highlight is the Welsh rarebit. Varied tea menu but the English breakfast is my winner. Highly recommended for lunch or afternoon tea!
