We visited for lunch one weekend to have a quick bite while shopping, Panis never lets me down. Quick, friendly service, great quality food and a menu with lots of choice.

Really friendly and authentic Italian serving freshly prepared meals at reasonable prices - and with a Sicilian smile! My husband and I both had the sea bream with chips and a fresh tomato sauce and diced vegetables. Our daughter had the lasagne. We all had...More

I visited with some friends for an early dinner (5pm) on a Saturday. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly, very informal but the highlight was the food. We all ordered a chicken dish and mine was one of the most delicious meals I have eaten...More

Great food. Slightly crazy Italian atmosphere when it's busy. Fair pricing and in a good central location. It's great for lunch or dinner and at any other time for real Italian coffee and treats. Even does Italian classes!

Pani's Café opened January 1995 and run by a family of brothers and sisters. It was one of the first Italian style café in Newcastle. As authentically Italian as you can get without actually going to Italy. In Pani's Café you can find a different menu for day and night and a constantly updated special board. We offer you the chance to experience Italian home cooked food and to savour an authentic Italian coffee in a convivial atmosphere. A little piece of Italy in the heart of a beautiful city!!!
