I have enjoyed dining at Paradisos for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. The food is always cooked fresh to order and the service is excellent, whether they are catering for couples or larger work parties. Italian food and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

But rather disappointed in the quality of the food, 3 had pizzas & they were all burnt, I had vegetable lasagne & it poor, watery very little substance to it, all sauce small amount of pasta & veg...... We went here as a group of 12 on a strict timescale (1hr). We pre-ordered the evening before most of us had 2 courses and we were in and out within the hour. There was great selection on the menu, reasonably priced and the service was good too Will definitely be going back.

Attended my friends wedding last weekend and we had the reception at Paradiso. Food was amazing and being the only vegan at the party special effort was made to accommodate me and I couldn't have been happier with it all. Its a great venue and special mention to Giuseppe and the rest of the staff who all went out their... More

I had the pleasure of being best man at my friends wedding at paradiso. The staff were all excellent, a special mention to Giuseppe who lead the great service of his staff. When arriving to have prosecco on the balcony he made my pregnant wife a nojito which she said was lovely. The food was all superb and the venue... More

We went during Restaurant Week and expected it to be busy, which it was. The menu was more limited than it would normally be but we expected that too. I am hopeless at making my mind up on a menu when I haven't eaten in the restaurant before but the waiter was very patient and he recommended the two dishes... More

The food is delicious, but not value for money. Went during restaurant week and it was extremely busy, but that is easy when it's quite a small venue anyway. It's a very popular place with 'quirky' people but for me the service was average and the environment wasn't very clean or organised. It felt like having a delicious meal but... More

Through the promotion during the Newcastle Restaurant week we decided to try out Paradiso on Monday for dinner. Overall, it is located in the city centre but easily overlooked. However, from the inside it looks inviting, especially during sunny weather the outside terrace is a great seating area. The service was always attentive and very polite although it was very... We went during restaurant week in Newcastle during a weekday lunchtime. We were really impressed by the menu and also how reasonable the normal menu was. We both opted for a fish cake starter and a lamb kofta main. Both arrived in good timing and were absolutely lovely. Tastiest lunch we've had in a while! Will def be going back.

I must say when my daughter said she that Paradiso was the venue for her wedding reception, I was a bit surprised, as I hadn't flagged it up as a possible venue. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was a great occasion, helped by the fine day so that everyone could make use of the lovely terrace at the... More

Description
Paradiso Newcastle - NORTH EAST RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR 2016 As voted by the Food Awards England. One of those restaurants you'll discover by word of mouth rather than by walking past. Tucked away down Market Lane, Paradiso is a hidden treasure. The restaurant is split into three main floors. The first floor, which is also the main seating floor seats up to 60, has a bar and a spacious outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. The second floor contains the open-plan kitchen and another seating area, which is able to seat up to 50. This floor is smaller than the first floor, but is still capable of holding large parties with ease, and again, we can accommodate parties of any size and number. If you require more privacy, our third floor is a private dining room which can seat up to 45. As this room features skylights, it is a bright, warm space and is spacious enough to be used for any kind of event, such as dining, presentations and so on.
